  1. Looks like I caught everyone out with these 2. I knew the second one was tough, but I thought someone might remember the first. The answers were 'Little Red Riding Hood' and 'Auto News'. I knew Jack and the Beanstalk had come up before, but couldn't remember which episode. I found Roger had asked about it in post #578 - it was 'Coltrane vs Duke'. Q. Jimmie Best's father shared a profession with Loretta Lynn's father - what was it?
  2. These Are The Days Of Our Lives - Queen
  3. Time After Time - Cyndi Lauper
  4. Good Times - Edie Brickell I don't think I know that one - can you hum a few bars? .
  5. Little Miss Can't Be Wrong - Spin Doctors
  6. Just spotted this blooper in 'The Runaway' while I was looking through scenes with Daisy's Road Runner to research my latest artistic effort. Bo has to squeeze Daisy's car between the 2 patrol cars, so he hits a ramp and drives on 2 wheels with his side in the air. The in-car shot, however, has the car tilted the other way. I think the studio shot was filmed level, they got John to tilt his head in the correct direction, but titled the camera the wrong way. It reminded me of the blooper in from the James Bond movie 'Diamonds are Forever' (skip to about 4 minutes in). His Mach 1 Mustang enters the alleyway on it's right wheels, and exits on the left.Maybe this was just an undocumented feature of American cars built in 1971 - drive them on 2 wheels, and they'll flip mid stunt .
  7. Just finished my version of Daisy's 1971 Road Runner. Technically her car was originally a 1974 Road Runner, and the later car (as depicted here) was actually a Satellite painted with the '74's Road Runner stripes. Like with the General Lee artwork, I've taken a bit of artistic license here. I've added Road Runner decals to the grille, trunk and stripes, and since I haven't found a clear screen grab of the actual wheels, I've fitted it with period Mopar wheels that it could have left the factory with. The white letter Goodyear Polyglas GT tires are also my addition.
  8. Well I've got to give the points to BL there for being first, and boluke was right as well. He was actually JJ Carver's right-hand man. To be honest, I'd forgotten Black Jack Bender - season 2 seems so long ago . I've got 2 more 'Undercover Dukes' questions today: 1) What book did Boss have to read to Rosco so he could get to sleep?. 2) When Bo and Luke go to report to the agent at the newsstand, what magazine does Bo pretend to read?.
  9. Little Deuce Coupe - The Beach Boys
  10. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I listened to the interview last night, then finished watching season 7, so I got to watch 'Remembering the Outlaw: A Tribute to Waylon Jennings' straight afterwards. Just the reunion movies to go now before I can start all over again .
  11. Here's the link to the interview: Waylon Jennings: An Outlaw Opens Up Musically
  12. If I Had A Hammer - Trini Lopez
  13. It's Ecstasy When You Lay Down Next to Me - Barry White
  14. That's right boluke, and I'm guessing Roger had the right answer as well. Q. Everyone remembers Artie Bender, the Pitchfork Picasso from 'Dead and Alive', but which other episode from season 6 had a character called Bender and who was he?.
  15. The End of the Innocence - Don Henley
  16. Can't you read between the lines, Roger?. He's gonna be out all weekend, celebrating being September's Fan of the Month .
  17. You can get a 1:18 model of the black one, although only just over 1000 were made (I've posted this in another thread in the General Lee section): I think Daisy would go for the yellow one as she commented on the color being her favorite when she won the Mustang in 'No More Mr. Nice Guy'. Those Pink Panther/Moulin Rouge Mopars are quite striking, but I'm not sure I can see Bo and Luke being happy driving one . Just found this link to a model of the General Grant ie. '69 charger in blue.

    Commercials

Here's a commercial from earlier this year for SpecSavers (Europe/Australia/New Zealand opticians). It's a parody of a commercial for Lynx deodorant. The Walker's Crisps commercials I mentioned a few posts ago are still going strong. The latest includes Lionel Richie.
