  1. Sorry about the question placement, Lizzy. I'll try not to put them underneath photos again. BL and texasdaisy were right about the quote, and Lizzy and texasdaisy got the horn question right. Q. In 'Swamp Molly', name the book that Boss is learning his dance moves from. You bonus point for today is for naming the author.
  2. Bye Bye Love - The Everly Brothers
  3. Goodbye Yellow Brick Road - Elton John
  4. Complete with gaffer tape?. It would be tricky as they only converted very limited numbers, so good reference photos are hard to find. Also it would mean doing an interior - something I've managed to avoid so far . You never know though - watch this space.
  5. Dang it, MaryAnne, you took my next one . Yellow Submarine - The Beatles
  6. No-one seems to be guessing at the tune of Cypriano's horn - looks like movies questions aren't as popular. I'll leave the question open until Sunday, and give this clue: Think of a hardy, virtually indestructible insect, then give it's name in Spanish. While that's still open, I'll pose another question: Q. Complete Waylon's quote from 'One Armed Bandits' when he's introducing Uncle Jesse: 'Bo and Luke always have breakfast with Jesse, except on _________ when they eat at ___ ______ on ______ and ____.'
  7. Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polkadot Bikini - Brian Hyland
  8. After studying both, I'd have to say it's highly unlikely that they are the same car. I could see someone making Lucifer from Double Zero, but not the other way around. Lucifer has a different hood with quick release pins, side scoops, rear spoiler, no front grille/lights, no wipers, no door mirrors, no 'Mustang' text across the trunk and extra suspension components at the rear. You would need to restore it back to near showroom condition before turning it into Double Zero. This seems like an odd thing to do to a race winning car.
  9. I thought this one was going to be easy after doing Double Zero - how wrong I was. There are quite a few differences, but it was much quicker than starting from scratch. Most of the changes involved removing trim, with only a few bits added. This one is pretty true to the original - no artistic license with this one. These wheels are also the ones that I should have put on Daisy's Road Runner. The Crane Cams logo appears at the beginning, but gets painted over before the race. There also appears to be something painted over near the tail lights in some scenes.
  10. Big Yellow Taxi - Joni Mitchell
  11. Luckenbach, Texas (Back to the Basics of Love) - Waylon Jennings & Willie Nelson
  12. Memories of East Texas - Michelle Shocked
  13. I forgot to acknowledge the previous correct answers to the smoking question - everyone got it right. Now for the RV question - I'm afraid it's half marks all 'round. To quote Rosco himself, it was 'a mama possum and a buzzard with collard greens in his beak': Q. Also from 'Hazzard in Hollywood', we're all familiar with General Lee's horn, but what tune does the horn in Cypriano's low-rider play?.
  14. If Frankie had won her bet with Bo in 'Luke's Love Story', she was going to paint the General pink.
  15. I'll wimp out and do the same. I'm waiting for the day MaryAnne or Mufn tell us General Lee was blue, or Bo was the dark one, and we'll all agree out of deference . Sorry Roger, I've got a couple of questions from 'The Dukes of Hazzard: Hazzard in Hollywood' - I'm starting watching again from 'One Armed Bandits', so regular service will be resumed soon . I'll start with an easy one: Q. In 'Hazzard in Hollywood', what creatures were painted on Rosco's RV?.
  16. Video Killed The Radio Star - The Buggles No worries, Garrett - I was running low myself .
  17. After watching 'Reunion', I couldn't resist having a go at the infamous '00'. I've not taken as much artistic license with this one, the chrome around the wheel arches and white letter tires are my only additions. The flames on the front fenders are copied directly, but I couldn't find a clear shot of the flames on the hood, so I had to improvise a bit - all of the replicas I've seen seem to differ in this area (my 1:18 model was no use at all). The license plate was too blurry to make out, so I left it blank - if anyone knows the correct license plate, please let me know so I can add it in. Now I have the basic shape of the '68 Mustang, I might have a go at Lucifer .
  18. The Blower's Daughter - Damien Rice
  19. I'm glad we've decided to be friends - it means I won't have to bring up the Boston Tea Party .
  20. I planned to post last night, but late nights on HNet catch up with me once in a while - I have no memory of anything past 11.15pm last night (6.15pm Eastern) . I know the answer to Mufn's question, but only by looking it up on IMDb. If no-one else answers, I'll post the answer, but I feel like I cheated. I've never seen the show, so I don't feel too bad about not getting it. As you'd probably guessed, our Supreme Superior Commander was correct in every detail. I don't think they've shown 'Grace Under Fire' on TV over here for about 10 years - it would be good to see an episode again. I enjoyed Brett Butler's cameo in season 1 of 'My Name is Earl'. Q. John Schneider's character, Ray, enjoys a cigar or two in 'Christmas Comes to Willow Creek', but which is the only Dukes episode where we see him smoking?.
