Jon Holland's website has some pictures of the house in the 'before and after' section, but doesn't give an address: http://dukesofhazzard01.com/beforeandafter77.html On another page, showing original filming pics, it says: "Later in the day the cast and crew transferred out to Alcovy Trestle where the filming of "Big Johns" character was pushed into the water. This was to the right of the Alcovy Bridge. After this was filmed the cast and crew went back to the house to remake-up, eat, and warm-up." ... which would suggest the house is close to Alcovy Trestle.

I'm going to have to give half points all 'round there - while Peggy Rea was in 38 episodes of 'The Waltons', Denver Pyle did appear in one episode in the first season. Q. Which guest actor who appeared in Dukes season 4 became a Ghostbuster 2 years later?. -

I'll leave my original question open to see if the others agree with you or not. To answer your question, MaryAnne, I missed the first half hour when they showed it the other night, so I had to look it up. The Burt Reynolds quote is from the first 'Cannonball Run' (1981). You can see it at about 9:28 in this video: The Cannonball Run (1981) part 1/7 There are a few '81 Trans-Ams in the first movie that you're sure to like, including these two police cars: Looks like Rosco's lightbar on the blue one, but we're getting off topic now . -

I've previously posted screengrabs from both in relevant sections of HNet: Sorrell Pics From Before Dukes Pics of Rick in M*A*S*H Another question about cast members in other projects today (only because the movie was on a couple of nights ago ). Q. John Schneider made a brief appearance in the 1989 movie 'Speed Zone' aka. 'Cannonball Fever', but which one of the regular Dukes cast appeared in the 1984 movie 'Cannonball Run II'?. -

I don't read a lot of fiction. If I do pick up a book, it's likely to be a biography or a book about WWII. Having said that, I do have a few favorites: Douglas Adams - Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy/Dirk Gently. Ian Fleming - James Bond novels. Alistair MacLean - various action thrillers. Spike Milligan - war diaries, blurring the line between fact and fiction, but very funny. To give you an idea of what they're like, the first in the series in called 'Adolf Hitler: My Part in his Downfall '.

(no video with this )Tori Amos did a cover version of this song on her 'Strange Little Girls' album in 2001. The chorus includes the line 'She looks like Eva Marie Saint in "On the Waterfront"'. Apparently she beat Elizabeth Montgomery (Bewitched) to the role. Her portrayal of Edie Doyle won her an Oscar for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. Here she is with Marlon Brando: Eva Marie Saint also appeared in films like "North by Northwest". I remember her as Maddie's mother in "Moonlighting" in the late '80s. Most recently she played Martha Kent in the 2006 movie "Superman Returns".
