The lights are beautiful. It's just a shame that it hardly ever gets dark in Hazzard .

My mistake - it must have been the 2002 race that I went to because the Arrows team was still racing. I watched it from near Stowe corner, i.e. the far side of the track from the start/finish straight as it was at the time. You're correct that the priest ran across the track during the 2003 race.

The only motoring event I've been to at Silverstone was the 2003 British Grand Prix, although I did run around the circuit during a hail storm in the early '80s (and being an old airfield, it was quite exposed!). I haven't been back since they changed the layout a few years ago. Regarding the truck racing, I've seen it on TV a few times and it looks pretty exciting. When I was in London, one of the teams used to keep their truck outside an industrial unit near where I worked.

belly (as in a good belly laugh) In British English we'd generally use the word snigger to mean the same thing (snicker would be regarded as American). Snickers is also a European maker of workwear.

I hope they're all high-pressure hoses, and not those "plain old store-bought rubber hoses" that nearly saw the end of Cooter's in 'Welcome Back, Bo 'n' Luke' (when they were switched by Joey).

I've highlighted the visible camera mount on the hood in 'Dukes Meet Cale Yarborough', and I thought I'd mentioned the interior of Cale's car changing color when they paint the exterior (if I did, it must be in another thread), but I think the disappearing roll bar is a new one. Here's the beginning and end of Cale's test run - one with a roll bar ... ... and one without!

It almost seems a shame to take off the vinyl roof since the car looks good as it is. The subtlety of the ghost signs is great.

Well, today's Hungarian GP sure didn't turn out like that. A win for Ferrari, and Red Bull filling the other two podium places. Mercedes could only manage sixth and eighth in an incident-packed race.

After Cooter launches the bike through the door, Bo says "Cooter, that ain't no way to treat your bike." Cooter replies "It wasn't mine." Bo says "No.", and then a guy at the pinball machine says "It was mine." as he punches Cooter in the face.

Why would Cooter wear sunglasses with one lens missing, and at night? He ain't dumb, but he is crazy .

I'm no good at identifying bikes, but here are a couple of pictures which might help someone else: This one shows some text on the panel below the seat, but I can't read it.
