    *remaining seated, he grabs Lavinia's hand and looks up at her* Fer a second there tonight I thought maybe I'd never see them boys again. *voice becomes noticeably choked up* I learned a lot tonight.....I learned how much I really love them youngsters. I've learned what a big job this is gonna be. *smiles* It's gonna be worth it though. *still with his soaked clothes on, Jesse stands up and hugs his wife while realizing that this is a defining moment in his life. After all the stress and confusion of accepting the 3 kids, it finally hits him that there's no turning back now. His committment to them will be life-long.     I know there's some question if Denver Pyle's birthday is December 25 or May 11. Until I hear it confirmed that it's December 25, I'll still celebrate it on May 11 like I have done since the Dukes first came out in 1979. With that thought in mind, let me say that Uncle Jesse is my hero. I'm only 48 but it is my hope that when I'm older I'll be just like he was on the show....loving, wise, caring, a family leader, respected, reverent, fun to be around, strong, gentle, community-minded, polite, honest, patriotic, and respectful of his fellow human beings (and a pretty good ridge runnin' wheel man to boot) Happy birthday in Hazzard Heaven my hero. Keep an eye on Boss up there. I'm sure the Good Lord needs your help on occasion to make sure old J.D. isn't trying to scam them angels. We all love you Uncle Jesse.

    Hey Min, I agree with Denver C except on number 1....she broke the pitcher over Milo's head...not poured it. Alex got both of mine right. It was coal and New Hazzard. That scene in "Farewell Hazzard" where Bo and Luke are at the farm after it had been emptied out and all their stuff was moved to Hatchapee was one of the most emotional in the whole series.

    *Walks through the dark woods feeling like the weight of the world had just been lifted from him...but also feeling a bit guilty since the kids were his responsibilty now. He was wondering to himself if he and Lavinia had taken on more than they could handle. The thought only crossed his mind for a second though. The love he had for the 3 kids soon took over, erasing any doubt about the decision he and Lavinia had made to accept Luke, Daisy and Bo.*

    Those of you who know me know that I have absolutely no computer skills except for knowing how to use Hazzardnet (I'm not kidding, I'm really that computer illiterate) Anyway, Does anybody know anything about Denver's son and wife? I would love to contact them and tell them what a great influence Denver's character has had on my life. Is that something that can be googled? That would be awesome!!! (thanks for that great info goldduster)
