  1. *The thick brush parted and it appeared..... The Duke men marveled as the monster slowly walked toward them. It was just as Jesse remembered it and how Andrew Harkness, Swamp Molly and Cousin Alice had described it. The beast looked 10 foot tall as it got closer. It's leathery looking hide was blotchy with various shades of black and dark green that looked much like alligator skin. It's eyes were red. What looked like dried blood was all over its chest. It walked like a man and was cautious as it approached. Then, it stopped. It grunted and looked up at the net, too far away to be standing in a position where the net could fall on it. The monster tilted his head and looked confused.*
  2. Behaving?...that's the worst thing you can do around here. It's always the innocent folks that get thrown in jail....this is Hazzard County after all.

  4. I don't know either but I'm going to guess Enos fired a pistol. I wanted to say "Gentlemen, the revenuers is coming!" but that was a different episode. Hmmm, was that "Days of Shine and Roses"?
  5. It's sad to hear about Stephen J. Cannell's passing. Even though nothing is close to The Dukes of Hazzard as my favorite show, there was a time that "Stingray" gave the Dukes a run for their money as my fave. In fact, for a short time there it passed Dukes as my favorite show but that didn't last long. "Stingray" wasn't one of Mr. Cannell's biggest accomplishments to most folks but to me it was. Hollywood has lost a legend.
  6. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  8. *Jesse looks in the direction of the sound. He tilts his head left and right while he watches intensely. The area goes silent for a few moments and then a young deer slowly meanders out of the thick brush. While it munches on some leaves, a second appears and finally a third. Jesse focuses on them with a smile on his face but his smile quickly disappears as the three deer turn in unison and look behind them. Immediately, they scatter in three different directions. Luckily none of them tripped the wire that would have released the net*
  9. Don't follow me GLG..LOL. I'm almost certain I'm wrong this time. The only thing I'm sure of is that they weren't chocolate or vanilla. I'm getting hungry.
  10. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  11. You sure predicted that one right Garrett. Those penalties don't get overturned often.
  12. I know it wasn't simple like chocolate or vanilla. I'm going to guess one was tuity fruity and one was peach. It's funny the way Luke tried to hide his face.

  14. Well Garrett, everybody has an idea of how they'd like to spend their golden years and walking behind a mule in the dirt is how I'd like to spend mine. Seriousely though, I'm only 50 and haven't really thought too much about retirement yet but I'm sure when I get to that point in my life I'll be living out a lot of my favorite scenes on the Dukes....like fishing, splitting wood and feeding the chickens (that I don't have yet). I won't be jumping cars or chasing girls like Bo and Luke but I bet I'm going to be just like their Uncle.
  15. I'd be careful what you wish for texasdaisy. Drawing attention to this thread is a good way to end up in jail.
  16. "Well, if it comes to it I always got the shotgun here but I hope it doesn't come to it. Okay, let's get the net set up and find a place to hide and watch." *The net takes an hour to get in place with Bo doing a lot of climbing at Jesse's instructions. After Jesse is completely satisfied that it will work he follows his nephew behind an area of thickets where they hope they won't be spotted. Jesse whispers to Bo* "I sure hope his sense of smell isn't strong."
  17. Another one of my favorite scenes is from "Hazzard Connection" when Jesse is out plowing the back 40 with Maudeen. As you can tell by the "location" on my heading, that's where I'd like to be.
  18. Good one Hoss. I chuckle every time I hear that line.

  20. Nice job Hoss. I would have never gotten that as a trivia question Brian but when you posted the answer, I do remember. The only reason I remember it is because I liked Tanya. Later, Dirk played Face on A-Team right?
  21. I remember they called him Mister....but I can't think of what else....hopefully this will help someone else get the second half.
