Luke 30 Jesse 70 I feel bad for Bo and his fans. This game can be brutal. Sometimes I wish I would have never started....LOL

*Jesse goes into deep thought for a second then responds* "Well, that's what I need to find out. If Molly and Alice saw the swamp monster at the same time Andrew Harkness did, there must be more than one. It would take a couple days fer any kind of critter, except a bird, to make it that far in a short time. The quicksand between their shacks lasts fer miles and on both sides of it is nothing but briars thicker than you can imagine. Hopefully I can find out where they've been seeing it too. Now that I think of it, it's probably better if I go alone. Molly didn't want to talk about it last time so my best chance is Alice. If you're around, I doubt she'll be able to concentrate on anything else but gittin' you in a wrastlin' hold." *Jesse starts walking toward the shack*

LOL You're right about that. Also, the General got painted green in "Southern Comfurts." It got painted black (it's original color) in "A Little Game of Pool." It got turned into a 4-wheel drive on "Arrest Jesse Duke."

Bo 3 Luke 29 Jesse 68

Thanks Garrett. You sure know your NASCAR. It's hard to believe you can win two races and not make it in like Jamie McMurray. I wonder if part of that "tweaking" will include automatic entrance to The Chase if you win a regular season race. That couldn't add too many more to the competition. I bet there's not many racers who won at least one race and didn't make it in....or am I wrong?

Thanks for posting this Garrett. It's going to get good now. How many races are there in The Chase? I see there's no Mark Martin. Besides him and Dale Jr, what other big names didn't make it?

That would be "Go West Young Dukes" as Joe Duke. Hoss, Don't feel bad about looking it up. If nobody's gotten it in 24 hours, I don't consider it cheating.....but that's just my opinion.

Bo 5 Luke 28 Jesse 67

*Jesse just smiles as the boat accelerates. They travel northward for a half hour until they arrive in the middle of the swamp to a small strip of land. Jesse can tell by looking at Bo's disgruntled face that his nephew has recognized their location. Jesse has brought the two of them to the landing near Swamp Molly and Cousin Alice.* "All right Bo, let's get out and secure the boat. I have a little business to take care of here." *Jesse shuts the motor off*

Hey Hoss, don't worry about jumping in front of MM. She won't mind. If she throws you in jail I'll bail you out. Don't wait for her answer, toss another one of those great questions of yours out there.

Hoss, I'm sure glad you don't hold grudges for things that happened hundreds of years ago. I was going to mention how sorry I was that my ancestors said all those bad things about yours before they hopped in the boat to come to America but you seem to have forgiven them so I'll hold off with the apology. I don't have any hard feelings for all those rocks your ancestors were throwing at mine when they were sailing away so you don't have to say you're sorry either. It's a good thing we have the Dukes of Hazzard in common. In Hazzard County, they celebrate St. Patrick's Day and the Fourth of July....so it looks like this story has a happy ending.

Bo 6 Luke 28 Jesse 66

*Bo was right. The gator did make Jesse a little nervous even though he would never admit it. He was pleased that Bo had spoken in an upbeat voice and soon realized Bo's attitude could be all the difference in the world in determining if this trip would succeed or not. Jesse pretended to not be nervous when he responded.* "Listen here young man, I was wrastlin' gators....and winning....long before you or yer momma and daddy was even born. If yer nervous though, don't hold back yer feelings. I'm here to keep ya safe just like I've done nearly yer whole life." *All the while he was talking tough, Jesse realized there was a better chance of Bo protecting him than vise-versa but the role of "protector" was not one Jesse would give up easily. Jesse sat on the seat of the back of the boat and brought the pull-start motor to life.*

*The Duke men arrive at Zak's Landing on the south end of the swamp. Without saying anything to Bo, Jesse gets out of the truck and starts emptying one of the gas cans into the motor of the beat-up flat-bottom boat. After that, he walks over to the truck and grabs two back packs, and gets ready to throw them into the boat when something catches his eye. To his left, 40 foot away, a pair of gator eyes pops up, revealing themselves because of the ripple they made when they broke the water's surface.* "Well Bo, it looks like this adventure's going to be anything but boring. If what I'm lookin' at is a preview of what's to come, we'd better keep our eyes open wider than his." *Jesse continues to stand still and look at the gator to show Bo where it's at.*
