  1. Wednesday is the day. The prettiest girl in Hazzard just continues to get prettier despite the fact she has yet another birthday coming up. We love you Daisy. Happy birthday on March 1.

Just saw the movie "The Great Wall" today. If you like action fantasy adventures this is a must see movie. I won't give anything else away but I will say they connect dynamite to arrows, light them and let them fly. Sound familiar? I bet folks in the theater were wondering why I laughed when I saw it.

  6. Jesse yelled loudly this time "Amos Crabtree you better answer me or I'm knocking this door down!" There was still no response. Jesse grabbed the knob and it turned easily. He was thankful he didn't need to knock it down. He opened it halfway and looked in. "Amos....Amos....ya there?" Still nothing. He then opened it all the way and looked better. To Jesse's horror was his old friend laying on the dirty floor of the primitive shack. Jesse hurried over to him and leaned over. "I sure hope you're just sleeping or drunk on your moonshine." He felt his pulse. "Thank the good Lord you're still with us you old ridge runner." Jesse said a prayer. "If you're listening Lord I sure could use a hand here." Seconds later his prayer was answered. Amos opened his eyes.

Jeff Gordon back in the lead! It might not last but that is pretty cool news Garrett. I'll be thinking of you when I see him in the pace car.
  8. And I agree with all the agreeing that Andrew just got done agreeing to.

  11. I can see one or maybe even two of the younger Dukes moving away but there's no way all 3 would have gone and left a fragile Uncle Jesse by himself. I'll never watch a reunion movie again. In my mind Hazzard County hasn't changed since its prime (seasons 2-4) and never will. Jesse, Boss, Rosco, Lulu, Miz Tisdale, Waylon ....all still alive and well if you ask me.

  13. Since things have been picking up so much I think I should revive this thread starting on March 1.....that is if it's okay with MM. I don't think I'll do long write ups like I used to and since we don't have as many active members some new folks might get it without accomplishing as much as used to be needed to deserve it. Still, it just seems like a good idea.
  14. Hey Hoss, remember this?

  18. We need more rookies like you around here NatMac. It sure is nice to have you around. Ask as many questions as you can think of. They're fun!
  19. A half hour later Jesse had arrived at his destination on the southwest corner of Hazzard Swamp. He parked his truck off the road far enough that it wasn't visible. Rain was forecast so he rolled the windows up. The old-timer got out, grabbed the backpack and put it on. He sighed, took two steps then noticed his boot was untied. He grumbled then stooped down, tied it and was on his way heading north on a well worn trail that bordered the swamp. An hour later he noticed a massive oak tree, by far the largest tree he had seen on the trek. He then turned off the trail and made a left and traveled west through the thick woods for an hour, stopping often to orient himself and rest as well. He then arrived at his destination, an old run down shack two miles from the nearest road in any direction. He wasted no time knocking on the door while yelling. "Amos! Amos, are you in there? This is Jesse Duke here!"
  20. We'll never forget you cousin. Happy birthday.
  21. Anytime I see the word hazard spelled somewhere my initial response is that some dummy misspelled it and forgot a Z. Then I think twice and realizze (two zs) I'm the dummy who doesn't know how to spell. Has anybody else here had that happen to them? I guess that's a sign that you're a serious fan....and I'm proud to say I am.
