  1. Thanks for the recommendation. We went to see the new Jumanji and want to see Rampage when it comes out. Last week I checked the listings and didn't see anything I was interested in but the commercial on TV for Death Wish looked good.
  2. I can understand how you feel but it might as well be in a different country to me. Canada is in my back yard. On Interstate 90 in the eastern end of my county you can see it across Lake Erie but Louisiana is 1,000 miles away.
  3. I agree. If you don't do it for the love at least do it for the money....but just do it!
  4. Thanks Hoss. I just thought it would be good to put this here since there are fewer and fewer Dukes gatherings lately. I wish this thing wasn't a thousand miles away because I'd love to go if it was closer. I see the property is 58 acres which is a coincidence since Bo is turning 58. As I said I'll turn 58 just 7 days after that. I wonder if I should start an extravaganza when I jump my dirt bike over that General Lee toy. How much do you think I should charge for admission?
  5. Hey Hoss, if it's not much trouble could you start a thread on "DukesFest and Other Events" with all this info? Thanks....and you're right about the website name...woops!
  6. aunt (Aunt Bee is Mayberry's version of Uncle Jesse...in fact Denver Pyle....Drisco Darling even had a crush on her in one episode)
  7. I don't use it either but the last couple of years I have thought about joining just to connect with more Dukes fans. As long as HazzardNet is around I probably never will though.

  9. Thanks for the NASCAR update and as always it's great to hear from you. Wow! I hadn't heard that about John Schneider. He'll be 58 on April 8 and I will turn 58 just 7 days after that. I can't afford to jump in a General Lee so I might jump over one. I'm considering hopping on my Yamaha dirt bike and jumping over one of my toy General Lees just so I can act like a Duke boy too.
  10. Let us know what you think of it.
  11. I know an elderly lady who just started using Facebook and wasn't very good at it. When she announced the death of someone she posted LOL at the end. Needless to say she got a lot of concerned responses. She then explained that she thought it meant Lots Of Love. Who remembers that hilarious commercial from a couple years ago with the old ladies "That's not how it works. That's not how any of this works!" when one unfriended the other? The funny thing is that when I saw it I didn't know what "posting something to the wall" meant. When it was explained to me it was even funnier. '
  12. Good one Hoss. I'm not really eligible to be fan of the month since I'm supposed to be the one picking them. As I recall in the fine print though the first person who suggests that I am fan of the month retroactively to the months that haven't been picked automatically become fan of the month for all those unpicked months so congratulations. You certainly deserve it. As much as you pay attention to details I'm surprised you didn't read that fine print....or maybe you did and you just wanted to scoop up all those awards....Well played! But enough about us. It's time to tip a class to the 'ol Hobie. Make mine a buttermilk.
  13. Thanks for reminding me about the fan of the month award Joseph. I hope you keep posting and contributing to the HazzardNet because you'll get it someday.
  14. Congratulations to Hobie for earning fan of the month honors for March 2018. Okay, let's say it since we're all thinking it. This fan of the month thing hasn't exactly been a monthly thing. But it's still around and that's something at least. You're awesome Hobie and we're thankful to have you here. Keep up the good work and keep that shine flowing....umm...for medicinal purposes of course.

  16. I have no overtime this weekend and have grandkids around tonight and tomorrow! Life is good!
  17. Happy birthday Daisy. You're just as beautiful as you were in 1979 when the world fell in love with you.
  18. We haven't had snow for a couple weeks but it just started an hour ago and we're supposed to get a foot in 12 hours. The ground is warm so hopefully most of it will melt quick.

  21. We don't need no stinkin' medical marijuana when we have Hobie's Finest.

  23. I had nothing much to do Sunday so I spent the whole day sitting here doing nothing but worrying about Roth......okay, maybe not all day but still.....I hope you're feeling better.
  24. Tom Cruise (wasn't he dating Katie Holmes for a long time?)
