I'd have to borrow a tank to get through them.....or maybe the armored personel carrier on "Follow That Still". Did anybody in your fantasy league have Derrick Henry last night Garrett? Sorry, back to NASCAR. I'm getting off subject.

Waylon Jennings has a song called Clyde...."Clyde played electric bass. Played it with finesse and grace. Sat on the porch, ain't got no shoes. Pickin' the bass and singing the blues." I love tough hypothetical situations Garrett but that one isn't so tough. I would root for the Steelers to win 59-58. That would mean Chase had a great game and could blame it on a Bear's defense that was so bad even RogerDuke could have busted through them.

My favorite person who is able to find the most amazing facts. He's either a computer genius or some kind of techno-wizard or both: HossC. I wonder how my wife will take it when I tell her we're moving to Georgia. I'm just going to blame Hoss.

My favorite racer: Chase Elliott My favorite singer: Charlie Daniels My new favorite QB who is not a Steeler: Chase Daniels

It looks like Trubisky is going to play. They're going to need him against the Rams. I'll do the same thing I always do....root for them unless they're playing the Steelers just like I root for the Cubs unless they're playing the Pirates...just because of you. The Steelers star RB James Connor is out with an ankle injury. I've met him three times. He is friends with my nephew. They went to McDowell High School in Erie Pennsylvania together. Connor is a cancer survivor so McDowell always get mentioned when they do stories about him.

Score prediction: Steelers-87 Bears-3 (maybe 6 if their quarterback gets healthy. How's he doing lately?

Hey, two of my favorites are mentioned here....Garrett Duke and Chase Elliott. It sure is good to hear from you Garrett. 76 days will be here before you know it! I'm too excited about Christmas to think about it though. I hope your Bears continue to do well....unless they play my Steelers in the Super Bowl....wouldn't that be fun!

I used to watch the old cartoon Camp Candy with my daughter when she was little. I think I still have an episode or 2 on VHS. If you're a John Candy fan I bet you know it. The best known song from the Charlie Daniels Band (or Banned if he gets kicked out) is The Devil Went Down to Georgia. Although that would barely make my top ten from the CDB. What this World Needs is a Few more Rednecks AND Simple Man are my two favorites. Hoss, I still have that picture that you made for me hanging in my office at work of Charlie and Uncle Jesse together. (thanks to your creative editing)

Okay, who's excited? I start getting excited about the most wonderful time of the year way earlier than most folks. I love Halloween but on November First I start singing Christmas songs in my head.....and I never complain about all those early Christmas commercials.

Thanks Hoss. I always wonder what's up with the surviving cast. That's why I was so excited to see Bo on Dancing with the Stars.

Cool stuff Shooter! Thanks for sharing it. It was nice to hear from you again.

Hang in there Spike! My wife hit a deer this morning on the way to work. It is the first deer she's hit in 40 years of driving so that's not too bad considering she lives in the country. Yesterday I saw two fully mature bald eagles circling our house, flying pretty low. They're getting more common but still, that was thrilling. I got my cast off yesterday. It's the third one since my Sept 18 ankle tendon surgery. I'm now back in an air cast and waiting for physical therapy to start next week..

STAR (Elvis and the Sun are both big stars.....by the way, his Sun Sesions are my favorite Elvis songs.....Milkcow Blues Boogie!....Good Rockin' Tonight!....they don't make 'em like that anymore)

I wouldn't trade my wife in a million years for that lady...but I would trade my car in a millisecond for that one.

I'll bet ya a buttermilk at the Boar's Nest that the Dukes would still beat them. I flipped it over a few times today but was too busy watching American style football to pay too much attention. I see the Prince was there. Not the Prince of Abu Dhabi....the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Those three cars might be a tad bit faster than the General Lee on a big city racetrack but If you put them on a dirt road in Hazzard County our favorite orange clunker car would make all three of them eat General Lee dust.

Mine would be a tie between Lulu Hogg and Miz Emma Tisdale but I couldn't find pictures of either.
-
You might be right now that I think about it.

I've often wondered that myself. Personally, I wouldn't want to be caught in either. Although I do remember seeing Boss and Rosco in a dress once.

I don't remember ever seeing China Beach. We only got NBC growing up. When I was 19 and Dukes came out I went to my grandparents house to watch it. They only lived several hundred feet away. I used to stick around and watch Dallas after that. The only other TV shows from that era that I liked were Charlie's Angels, Stingray and A-Team. Since that era I never really cared about television too much although Duck Dynasty was good. The Dukes is by far my favorite. None of those others I just mentioned were even close to second. What about you folks What are your all-time favorites?

I wonder if all kinds of racing constantly struggles the way NASCAR does with rules and proposed changes.

As much as I know about the show I am pretty uninformed about the creating of it. Thanks for the information Hoss.
