The Nationwide Series which use to be known as the Busch Series, is like what AAA (Triple A) baseball is to the MLB, to the Sprint Cup (Formally Winston Cup). If that make sense. Except that drivers from the Sprint Cup can also drive in the Nationwide Series races if they chose to do so. For example: Carl Edwards, Brad Keselowski, Joey Lagano, Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch drive all or some Nationwide Series races but are also full time Sprint Cup drivers. There are others that do both, but just listed the ones that came to mind right away. The Sprint Cup is the top series or top devision of NASCAR...the big leagues. It is the series that I watch and follow, so I know more of the drivers and races and info regarding the Sprint Cup than I do the Nationwide Series. The Sprint Cup is a little different than the Nationwide Series race in the fact they have what they call the Chase. The Chase is like the play offs and only the top twelve in points are able to be in the chase to race for the championship. Any driver outside of the top 12 is racing for 13 who wins a million dollars at the end of the season. The points are reset at the begining of the chase which is the final ten races of the season and with each wi…

This is where I or anyone can post down where drivers start, who has the pole, what happens during the race and how they finish the race. Perhaps put some track info or race info as well. (This is for the Sprint Cup Series, if someone wishes to do the Nationwide Series they can, I don't watch it to really know what happens. But I could post what I read about it online. Just let me know or go ahead and do it. For now, I will stick with what I know.) They will be racing in Indianapolis Speedway...the Brickyard 400. hi guys, I like to know that are coming next Feb 20 for Daytona 500 and what you think lot change this year? lot new scheme paint and you know that #82 change to #4 as red bull blue/red one and #29 kevin hevick had change scheme as budweiser black/red and #22 had change from #29's old scheme, UPS, others still same but paint bit change and #14 Tony Stewart will had Office Depot with Mobil 1 as well. Kansas will had 2 track schedule and new Kentucky track in too. what you think of this year going better or same? discussion... thanks

Well with the 2011 season only days away (y'all hear me yelling in excitement?! HA HA.) I figured I'd start a new thread for this year's race reviews and results. (I would love to continue to to give the race recaps, results, and point reviews if y'all would want me to? I might even start watching the Nationwide Series races this year to give reports over if y'all are interested. . .) Well I don't want to be hogging the NASCAR forum here, but Roger came up with an idea for a question and answer page for NASCAR and thought it was a great idea. Thought we could post our questions here and whoever who has the answer can answer it. Wish I could say I had all the answers, but I don't. Well today was the Nationwide Series Daytona race and sadly I missed it. Oh well guess I probably won't catch 'em all anyway, but Daytona would have been nice. With the 2011 NASCAR season underway, I have signed up for a NASCAR fantasy team for the second time in a row. Though this time it is with members from Jeff Gordon's official website fanforum and has more members that I had with my cousin's team which was only the three of us (though I was the winner of the team of three. Well y'all...it is FINALLY that time of year again! It is now NASCAR season...well the season doesn't officially start until next Sunday at the Daytona 500...but eighteen cars has just started their engines at the Sprint Unlimited (Used to be known as the Bud Shootout). Bet y 'all can't guess who is excited???? I AM!!!!!!!!!!!! The Sprint Unlimited is on Fox Sports 1. Used to be known as the Speed Channel. Will write a summary of the pre season race once it is over. Well today's NASCAR special has just ended on FOX that was called Daytona: The American Dream. Did anyone get to watch it? If so, what you think? I have to admit, I didn't have much expectation for the program other than that it was about the Daytona 500 and something to fill my NASCAR fix during this off weekend. But boy, was I wrong. Am so glad I watched it. I watched the Daytona 500, saw the big one, and saw the historically young driver win the great American race. Yet, it was just as exciting to see it again. Has anyone ( besides me) seen the video of the guy in a local race of some kind and he just won and was standing in front of the crowd and the female reporter was interviewing him and it was LIVE.....so nothing could be bleeped out etc. The crowd was chanting..." F Joe Biden, F Joe Biden" and the reporter tried to cover it up by saying , " The crowd is saying " Let's Go Brandon!" ( the first name of the driver). You could tell what they were really saying though. I just bought a " Let's Go Brandon " T shirt! You obviously have some REAL Americans in that area!
