I'm gonna recommend a couple o' flicks for all us motorheads. Most of these will not be Oscar nominated movies...but hell, we're Dukes fans, so critical acclaim ain't no concern. For a Hazzard-esque feel, sans moonshine, I recommend a little-known movie called "Eat My Dust", starring Ron Howard, circa 1976. Rated PG by the standards in the day. It's my own opinion that some of the Dukes writers borrowed a little bit from the look and feel of this movie. This is Horror Movie from 1959 and James Best is the star of the movie, he is leading actor of it. This is directed by Ray Kellogg like the cereal company. This movie, kind of a found me in a strange sort of way and it's amazing how things just come right to the house or apartment this way.

This movie is a stand-alone masterpiece among any "car flick" movie out there; primarily because it takes you back in time so effectively. The period is 1962; the stages are car hops, street drags, high school dances and late-night crusing. It's worth watching this movie for the cars alone; but the performances of the cast prove why these actors grew such great careers. The 8th of June the movie "The circuit" will be out on US, with the wonderful, beautiful Drew Fuller ("Charmed" and "Army wives")! For you american that have the chance to see it soon, I suggest to go to the cinema. For me, I hope the movie will be out in Italy, too, otherwise I'll order it on amazon when it'll be avaliable. I don't have good details on this one, I'm hoping Cap'n Redneck can help me out. It was mentioned on another thread and this is a wild flick worth mentioning here. First of all, the getaway car in this flick is a black Charger, and I believe it's a '69 or '68. This is another 70's-era movie that was a cross between an action/crime flick and massive car chase. I recall it being violent for the day; but by today's standards it's probably a creampuff. The singular feature of this film that gives it my recommendation, is the shock ending. Trivia from the movie for everybody out there. What was Little Jack's first word he learned from Greg in the movie? What was unusual about the Wall Greg's father put together to honor his son with? What could Jinx do that Jack trained to do that was unsual for a Cat?

We usually don't go for Jim Carrey movies but this was a good one and we just gotta ask this pressing question. The guy who plays Mr. Falk, the lady's lover who's gonna lie on the stand...is it just me...or does he look a lot like Vance Duke? Did Christopher Mayer play this role? We looked it up on movies.com and it said "Chip Mayer". Did he use a different name? Say it isn't so Vance, say it isn't so!

I watched this film the other day, and discovered a continuity error! When the bomber comes out of the loo in his flat, you see him sit down in front of screens. One of them has a film of the bus moving along the highway with police escorting them, while Jack and Sandra Bullock (the character's name skipped my mind right now) are speeding round the airport runway. With no police at all!!!

What do you guys think of the Gostbusters Movies and the TV show? im sher that yall know what in talking about. i love the Gostbusters and Ecto-1 one is the best i think.

Beer For My Horses is a Toby Keith movie, and he plays Deputy Sheriff Joe Bill Racklin a.k.a. Rack. Mac Davis and Mel Tillis have small roles in the movie as well. And Ted Nugent plays Skunk he's tattoo of a badge and ak47's for his service weapon and he a little orthodox as well he also mostly use's a Bow and Arrow he got somebody in the reared quite literally now.

I just was surfing the Internet and found out that The Fast And The Furious 4 will come out on June 5, 2009 and will have Vin Diesel and Paul Walker back in the movie again. Can't till June 5th next year about everybody else.

This movie stars Dewayne Johnson a.k.a. "The Rock". Its about a guy who gets released from prison after a botched bank job in which his brother is murdered right in front of him. This movie has a sweet looking 1970 Chevelle in it. This isnt for the kiddos, but I great movie none the less. Lots of action with some pretty good driving in it.

I have "A Woman of Substance" the dvd and the book. It has a element that would remind of the Dukes. Only in the sense in the beginning Emma Harte is a servant girl at Fairley Hall and Edwin Fairley gets her pregant and she goes off on her own to found the Harte's department store and other things as well. The Left Handed Gun, is a movie about William Bonney a.k.a. Billy The Kid (Paul Newman) and his best friend Tom(James Best) and this is has to be the only western where James Best and Denver Pyle are in at the sametime until The Dukes Of Hazzard. There is aspects of the movie that shows what the west was really like.

I have recently bought the Movie Love Me Tender(1956) and Imdb doesn't even mention that James Best played Brett Reno he did a great job with the role. He was one scene where he grabs Clint Reno who is played by Elvis Presley after he is hitting Cathy and he does a good job with and even takes him gun from as well.

If you love horror movies... GO SEE THIS. ****INTENSE**** As far as hauntings go, this movie makes the Sixth Sense look like Casper the Friendly Ghost.

Well got to see the 2nd reunion movie to night. It was good, but some thing was missing. It just didnt fill right. There are 3 thing that really buged me. One was that Gabby girl. I didnt like the whole love store betwwen her and Bo. Two Luke's love store. Iam a BIG Bo fan, but I really wanted Luke to get the love of his life back. (It made me sad to see Luke sad) Three, Luke wasnt the same old Luke. It seem like he wasnt really into it. BO on the other hand was great!! Minus the parts with Gabby in them. So what do you all thing about it???
