Lifetime fan of the show and now looking to build a General Lee of my own. I have been "lurking" on here and havent signed up until today. Looking forward to meeting all of you and interacting as well.

This movie stars Dewayne Johnson a.k.a. "The Rock". Its about a guy who gets released from prison after a botched bank job in which his brother is murdered right in front of him. This movie has a sweet looking 1970 Chevelle in it. This isnt for the kiddos, but I great movie none the less. Lots of action with some pretty good driving in it.

The Generel Lee for sure. The Trans Am was fast and a beautiful car but has no where near the class of the General. Besides, if I am not mistaken, I believe The General has logged 10 to 15 times more air time the the Trans Am has. He does it with more grace and style. I don't recall hearing a Johnny Cash song written about that T/A either.

I tend to agree with most of what I have seen in this thread. The first SATB is my favorite. Seems The Dukes and the Bandit share a common backgorund. Great drivng, lots of wrecked police cars, and a couple of sheriffs that seem to be funnier the more frustrated they get. Wonder how funny it would be to Get Roscoe and Buford in the same patrol car together? That would be worth paying for.
