Well after returning to reality after the holidays...well heard this song on my MP3 player and it made my day a lil better. So I thought I would post it... Love this song and the video...then again I love about every song on the DOH soundtrack. Also heard James Best's "Go Flash Go" as well...makes me smile everytime...puts me in anoth DOH episode. The General Lee, is in my opinion, the best car. Ever. Then again, my opinions are heavily biased since I love everything about The Dukes of Hazzard.

I just met a guy who just retired from being a sound man in Nashville for 35 years and still lives there. He has worked with just about every star I ever loved including Charlie Daniels, Waylon Jennings and John Schneider. He told me a lot of stories and I'll see him again tomorrow to hear some more. I suppose I shouldn't repeat them though! It sure was cool to hear from someone who has worked with Waylon and Bo!

I REALLY need help! I'm trying to figure out all the Lyrics to the Dukes CD soundtrack, and there are some things that I just CAN'T get. I'm pretty sure it's the accent that's messin me up, being foreign to me, as a Kiwi... Anywho... in 'Laughing all the way to the Bank' there's a chuck that I can't figure out (q-marks are the bit's I don't know): (Big Boss Hogg ??????????????) MMMM-Hmmm (Chases Money like a Love-Sick) Yeah, that's right. (He's charmin' as an Army Tank) Well now, wait a minute! (But he's laughing all the way to the bank) Hyeehehehehehahahehahe! (Boss Hogg Big Boss Hogg) Well I don't look like No Movie Star There's no doubt About that But there's a Cal-Cu-…

Friends the other day I was listening to Waylon's greatest hits and I realized we lost a legend. All of his songs are incredible. They take you through every emotion and back again.

Could anyone please help me to identify a source for the backing music from Dukes of Hazzard. I've been searching for The Waylors, Waylon Jennings etc but I haven't found any real instrumental backing music from The Dukes of Hazzard.

Hello, first time poster. I made a Dukes of Hazzard / General Lee inspired electric guitar that I thought Dukes of Hazzard enthusiasts may be interested in checking out. I stripped and repainted it in the General Lee image, and wired in a device to play the car horn ("Dixie") with a press of a button through the amp. View the following youtube video to check it out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3Jyo--GwtM Thanks!

Fellow Hazzardites, Y'all Remember Jerry Reed from Smokey and The Bandit ?He was something else, not only a great country singer and musician but also a writer and actor. He was awesome in Smokey and the Bandit, a crazy Good ol' boy it's a shame he never appeared on The Dukes Of Hazzard. He would have made a fine addition to the cast or as one of Boss's speed trap victims. I wish I could have met him. We Miss ya snowman.

A radio show I listen to has a weekly feature where they put up two versions of a song, the original and a good cover, and debate which is better; sometimes with surprising results. For example, this week's comparison was 'Tracks of my Tears' with versions by Smokey Robinson and Linda Ronstadt. It's the one from a couple of weeks ago that still has me undecided. The subject that week was Leonard Cohen's track 'Tower of Song' from his 1988 album 'I'm Your Man'. The cover version was by Tom Jones from his new album 'Spirit in the Room'. I must confess, I didn't know either version beforehand, but expected the Leonard Cohen one to win. After listening to both several times I…

Well the world of Country music lost a great and talented artist...as well as a great legend in George Jones who passed away yesterday at the age of 81. What the world loses, heaven gains. RIP George Jones...you will always be missed. \ (The remark made beneath the video part on Youtube is worth the read...background on Alan Jackson and George Jones on that night. Would write it, but they wrote it better than I could remember it.)I remember watching that award show and being so proud to be a Alan Jackson fan and of AJ for standing up for what he believed in. George Jones was invited to sing his current song at the time "Choices" but was told he could only play part of…

Hey y'all I'm sure I'm not the only one who has found themselves flicking through the tv or radio channels, and hearing the latest song being played. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who's questioned how the song made it to number one. Most of my friends agree with me on this. I'm convinced that music has gone into a downward spiral. In fact the only person who's firmly against me is my fourteen year old sister, who's obsessed with every boyband that comes out of those useless reality song competition shows. I'm into country, rock and blues. It may not be everybody's favorite type of music, but each song has it's own little story in it. Today's music, however, is empty …

Hey ya'll! Just curious if anyone is a Billy Joel fan. I am and will always love his music. When I was moving out of my parents house, my dad played over and over "Movin' Out (Anthony's Song)! Every time I hear it, I laugh, thinking how my dad kept playing that! I also love "The Downeastern Alexa". Anyone else?

I was just watching the end of the episode where Luke love from the Marines comes and they sing "Boulder to Birmingham" together. I love that song. Then I got to thinking, they need to sell that version of the song. I would be listening to it all the time. But sadly they don't. I would love to have it. I would always be in heaven. Anyone think this too?

I have my own opinion, but I'd like to hear some of y'alls...Toby Keith, imo, is the king of country and he's about to release a new album. If you're at all a fan of plastic swimming pools or good looking women washing cars, you'll relate to this album...and mainly this single

there are many songs I listen to but there are a few that just stay in my head and I end up randomly singing them in my head. The List: * 'At the sound of the tone' John Schneider * 'Good Times' Anita Cochran * 'Carrying on' John Schneider & Tom Wopat * 'It will rain' Bruno Mars * 'Boulder to Birmingham' The version on the show I think there's more but this is all that comes to mind.

I haven't been able to find the full song to listen to (for free) anywhere. Looked on YouTube. Anybody else heard this song? He does a pretty amusing Rosco impression. Khee! I'm gonna have it stuck in my head now... Shame, shame, shame. Everybody knows your name Ya lost the Duke boys, in the pond again Rosco P. Coltrane!

Merry Christmas, Everyone! I came across this song on youtube, and figured it would definitely be something that would get the Boar's Nest rocking!! (The artist is apparently Keith Harling, btw.) (You'll need to get rid of the spaces around the www . I didn't want to annoy Mary-Anne by posting a link w/ out permission! Lol!) Have a Happy and Safe one, all!

My new favoritest song! It's raining here and it's been stuck in my head. (Mostly cause I'm glad it's FINALLY raining! haha) Rain is a Good Thing By Luke Bryan! My daddy spent his life lookin' up at the sky He'd cuss, kick the dust, sayin' son it's way too dry It clouds up in the city, the weather man complains But where I come from, rain is a good thing Rain makes corn, corn makes whiskey Whiskey makes my baby feel a little frisky Back roads are boggin' up, my buddies pile up in my truck We hunt our honeys down, we take 'em into town Start washin' all our worries down the drain Rain is a good thing Ain't nothin' like a kiss out back in the barn Wringin' out our soakin…

Is it weird for a DOH fan (myself) to be a really huge fan of rock/metal music? I mean don't get me wrong I really like country too but my love of rock music overpowers country music. I'm not a stereotypical person, and I hate stereotypes personally but I always kinda thought most DOH fans are country music fans as well.

I used the search, but wasn't able to find a thread. I do love the Ramones. Are there other fans out there? I was invited by a friend to go with him to a festival, when the Ramones were playing in the early 90ties and I refused, because I wasn't much of a fan back then. It maddens me to think of the opportunity I've missed... I then saw Marky and the Ramones Revival Band at Wacken 2005... it was better then nothing and I actually really did enjoy it. R.I.P.
