Dukes of Hazzard Movies

Saw the movie for the first time today as today is the first day it came out in the cinema in the UK. I thought it was great. One of the best movies I have seen in long time. It is also one of the better re-makes Hollywood has done. I thought all the cast and crew and Warner Brothers did a great job on this movie. I really enjoyed this movie and so did my Dad who came and saw it with me. I really liked what they did with Boss,Enos, Rossco and Jessie. Gooter was great as always and I enjoyed Sheev who was a fun new character. I would like to of seen more of Cletus and more of down-town Hazzard. I've been reading this forum since the announcement of the movie and I have been reading all of the posts. I love looking at all the pictures and videos everyone has been posting. My only problem is going through all the posts to find ALL the pictures and videos taken from the movie. I was wondering if someone has all the links and can put them in one section. My parents just finished watching The Dukes of Hazzard movie. They're actually on their way home from the theatre in Atlanta as I'm typing this. I asked my mom to give me her opinion without giving away too much info as I want to be surprised when I see it on opening night. My mom said that this is definately not a movie for children due to some of the content, but mostly the language. She wasn't as negative and as I thought she would be. im looking for the reunion movie dose anyone no where i can download it from. i found it on youtube i put it on disc and my dvd player says disc error it will only play on pc.

I have an idea for a 3rd Reunion movie. Before Rosco died, he could've made out a will leaving Enos or Cletus Boss Hogg's empire upon his death. Enos can be the Sheriff/Boss/Commissioner now, with Cletus as Deputy. Or have Cletus Sheriff/Boss/Commissioner with Enos as Deputy. Bo, Luke and Daisy can be married with little Dukes of their own who have grown up and come to Hazzard to help the Dukes, Enos, Cletus, Cooter etc. to stop Hughie Hogg from taking over Hazzard County. Hughie got word from his goons about Uncle Boss and Rosco being dead, so he returns to try to take over as Sheriff/Boss/Commissioner.

Here's a loose rumor I picked up in the alley, take it for what it's worth... The issue at stake for Jennifer Simpson and Britney Spears isn't just the role of Daisy Duke. Whoever is awarded the role, will allegedly have the chance to record a song for the movie soundtrack. This is an interestin' grain of gossip. Take, for comparison, the Starksy & Hutch movie. It didn't have anything overwhelming in the way of a soundtrack. There were the expected 70's tunes, a mix of classic rock and disco, but nothing that gave the movie added punch. Warner Bros is lowering the bar with this one. The producer, Bill Gerber, previously brought us the tender story of "BeerFest" along with the 2005 Emmy-rejected Dukes movie. One might think there's nowhere to go but up after having those on a resume'. Apparently WB thinks this is the right direction for Hazzard, and as a result the Dukes are really heading south. It's too soon to tell, but early leaks from the industry suggest that this new movie will not only suck, but will also swallow and choke. Either way it could leave a bad taste in yer mouth. I just checked IMDB and the rating is up and it is "R". That means probably a few F bombs and nudity among other things that do not belong in Dukes of Hazzard.Definitely a no buy for me,I won't even rent it. I as a Dukes fanatic refuse to accept this crap and if you are as passionate about Dukes as I am.Don't buy this.Boycott. Ok, in 10 minutes on tonight's Smallville episode, the on-screen reunion of John and Tom proved a number of things: 1) They were never "too old" to be in the Dukes movie - life doesn't end at 30 after all 2) They had more chemistry between the 2 of them, then the entire movie cast 3) It didn't matter that the Charger wasn't orange 4) Yes, they can act 5) John's still the better driver 6) The Smallville episode paid more true homage to the spirit of the Dukes of Hazzard than anything the movie gave us 7) WB does have decent writers - where the hell were they during the Dukes movie script? 8 Plaid shirts are still " in " 9) Tom can still climb through car windows …

It was so nice to see Tom and John on Smallville Nov 3. It was nice that the charger did its stuff on there they did a nice jump too. If you didnt catch it Lex refered to Luke as a Good ol Boy to John. I did notice that there was some references from DOH show. I liked seeing them together again. Too bad they could not been Bo and Luke in the DOH movie. I do have an idea of why WB did that show because a lot of true Dukes fans including myself was not happy with the movie so to make it up to us they had the duke boys come together because WB is the one who released the DOH movie in the first place.
