During the commercials that were running to promote the big screen Dukes movie in 2005, there was a rock version of "Good Ol' Boys," but it didn't appear during the movie and is not on the soundtrack. I have never been able to track down details...who sings it? Where can I find it? Any help is appreciated!

I was checking out imdb.com, and check out there message board for the movie and saw this posted. Thought everyone should read it, figured it would happen sooner or later.

Saw the movie for the first time today as today is the first day it came out in the cinema in the UK. I thought it was great. One of the best movies I have seen in long time. It is also one of the better re-makes Hollywood has done. I thought all the cast and crew and Warner Brothers did a great job on this movie. I really enjoyed this movie and so did my Dad who came and saw it with me. I really liked what they did with Boss,Enos, Rossco and Jessie. Gooter was great as always and I enjoyed Sheev who was a fun new character. I would like to of seen more of Cletus and more of down-town Hazzard. i'm starting to see august 5th on all the movie web sites. that is a new development, and would explain why we havent seen an official web site or a trailer. but thats a long time for post production, which is not a good sign. dont be suprised if some legal issues were raised by warner brothers. at any rate, i deem this a set back

Hello, I wanted to give everyone a update on the movie. Yesterday and today they are filming at the corner of Choctaw and Scenic in Baton Rouge. They are shooting the scenes for the Hazard County Police Dept. Yesterday it was Daisy breaking one of the Duke boys out of jail. They also had a 60's style mustang with Boss Hogg written on it and Burt Reynolds picture on it. Today I rode by there and The black Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit with the liscense Bandit 4 on it. Tomorrow Clinton is having a Christmas parade and Jessica is supposed to be in the parade and I think they are filmin some scenes during the parade.

Ok, in 10 minutes on tonight's Smallville episode, the on-screen reunion of John and Tom proved a number of things: 1) They were never "too old" to be in the Dukes movie - life doesn't end at 30 after all 2) They had more chemistry between the 2 of them, then the entire movie cast 3) It didn't matter that the Charger wasn't orange 4) Yes, they can act 5) John's still the better driver 6) The Smallville episode paid more true homage to the spirit of the Dukes of Hazzard than anything the movie gave us 7) WB does have decent writers - where the hell were they during the Dukes movie script? 8 Plaid shirts are still " in " 9) Tom can still climb through car windows …

Where did they get the cars for the movie? Did they buy some from people who had them fixed up or did they find a few junkers and have a local body shop do the work?

after watching the good ol' boys run out rosco all those years makes me think, stunt wise... does Knoxville & Scott really have what it takes to slide across that hood or jump in and out of those windows? because if ya ask me, they couldve used a few classes from Tom & John on the subject honestly. then again i dont think Anyone could ever master getting in and out of a car like the Real duke boys. reguardless, how many people have you seen be able to slide across a hood on their knee? im gone. -Brad
