Dukes of Hazzard Movies

For what it is worth; I was in New Orleans, LA about 2 weeks ago, and I was privledged enough to witness a couple of stunt scenes for the new movie. Now I only got to see a few stunt actors, and a drifter that was also featured on Rides, Rhys Millen. P.S. The "Xtreme Lee" is kind of a bunk car. They could have taken that thing to a whole new level, even painting black inlay on the rims and making the "01" bigger would have helped. In any case; I saw the costumes for Bo and Luke both. When this movie started to film back in November 04. Alot of people on this web site said this film would be crap and that it would be a big flop at the cinema this summer. Now that they have seen the trailer they have said this film will be great. Who can you tell if you have not seen this film.

WELL......its been a while since i wrote here, but after watching the trailer i had to comment. Im torn between love and hate... its gonna be a great movie as far as movies go, but its DUKES BLASPHEMY, its the wrong cast of dukes(minus uncle jesse of course). feels like jackass meets american pie.....that and i have a hatred for jonny knoxville...my rant is done i guess

Even though my favorite season is the first my favorite episode is "Double Dukes". That's the one where two hoods disguise themselves as Bo and Luke and have their own General Lee.

I was just curious. I'm partial to the first few seasons. My favorite being the very first. I just wish there were more episodes.

I heard that in the last season or two they started to use model cars instead of actually performing stunts. Does anybody know which season this started happening and does anybody know where I can see a clip? The idea sounds horrific, but I'd like to get a look anyway.

Any one know where you could buy the the movie DVD before DEC 6. A cuple of weeks ago someone was selling a overseas version Ebay. The cover had Japinese subtitles on it E bay removed it for copyright issues.

Wondering, Will white Ford truck be in movie which Uncle Jesse used to drive? I bet they might replace to white Chevrolet or white Dodge Ram like as they did to Movie's Cooter??? Maybe they use different color, multicolor or primed gray? I hope they better not to put Uncle Jesse in tin Nissan, Mazda or Toyota pickup because I heard movie director is Nissan Nut. But who Didnt show? according to the pics i didnt see james best, tom wopat, etc. What the hell? i can understand Ben Jones Not wanting to goto the flick. but damn, John tears up in the general lee. what gives? anyone have any further info on this? im gone. -Brad

While its a sure bet that sweet Daisy had the set of limbs all men would love to cuddle, still there were others on the TV show that as sweet a set of legs as Daisy. Huey Hogg' nurse on one episode had a great set, several on episodes did, how many pairs of nylon hose were worn to creat the illusion of perfect legs. Will the babe on the Big screen movie wear nylon hose to trick out her legs, face it niether Miss Spears or Simpson have perfect legs. Maybe there should be a casting call for the perfect legs, from Hazzard County?

Personally i don't even wanna see it cuz i know i'll hate it. i don't like it when they take a perfectly great show and switch the characters. they also change the whole idea and they way everything should be. not only that but i've heard that the movie is nothing like the real DOH. I hear Rosco doesn't do the Kew Kew Kew thing and the General Lee's doors are'nt welded shut!!! i saw that Boss is'nt fat and the characters look nothing like they're supposed to!!! anyway as you probly figured out by now i really dont think much of the movie and i love the original DOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
