Dukes of Hazzard Movies

I was thinking about how they might go about putting the trailer together and thought wouldnt it be cool if they used the theme from the show while showing clips from the movie? I'm not really interested in a new version of the song being used, I'd rather stick with Waylon's version. What do you think?

Hello, I wanted to give everyone a update on the movie. Yesterday and today they are filming at the corner of Choctaw and Scenic in Baton Rouge. They are shooting the scenes for the Hazard County Police Dept. Yesterday it was Daisy breaking one of the Duke boys out of jail. They also had a 60's style mustang with Boss Hogg written on it and Burt Reynolds picture on it. Today I rode by there and The black Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit with the liscense Bandit 4 on it. Tomorrow Clinton is having a Christmas parade and Jessica is supposed to be in the parade and I think they are filmin some scenes during the parade.

ok Im gonna say this, If it werent for the movie I won't have been a Dukes fan... when I first saw the movie I actually liked it I did. I also Loves Dukes of Hazzard Beginnings its really cool. the boys were kinda cute. Daisy needed a fuller figure but im not hating on it. I know they didnt stick to the story line ad I know some of y'all basically wanna kill Jessica for taking the role but if you were an actor won't you have taken the job? Just think of it as a family whose last name was Dukes instead of the Dukes of hazzard everyone knows.

This probably has been talked about a lot on other threads, but the following I believe should be on a Duke's Movie or even a new Duke's series: Uncle Jesse: Charlie Daniels instead of Willie Nelson Boss Hogg: Danny Devito Daisy Duke: Still looking but the young lady on the Beginning Movie has promise. The Balladeer: Shooter Jennings Not sure on the others as of yet, but Charlie Daniels would be great. He could even do a reunion movie with the original cast as one of Jesse's brothers. Just a thought. What do yall think?

Hey guys i'm new here. I was casted as an extra in the movie and got to watch a lot of the filming in Baton Rouge and Clinton. I have a different idea for a dukes of hazzard movie. what about having the original cast but also have the children of bo and luke. They are in there mid 4os so they can have children of their low 20s. i think that would be cool.

hi. ive been checking out this site and i love it. so i thought id give my 2 cents. my idea for the teaser is this. the teaser starts with some shots of the southern country side. theres a voice over about how nice and peaceful the south is. the camera pans right into the "welcome to hazzard county" sign. as we see the sign the General Lee jumps the sign and we see Bo and Luke driving. they do the yee haw and the dixie horn blows. then we see Roscoe behind them crash the sign. then maybe shots of the cast. they should film this just for a teaser. the thing im looking forward to see most is the jumps. these days the jumps look kick ass, and id like to see a great shot of …

my idea is that this movie should be more of a mesh of the first 2 episodes of the show, and the movie that this show was inspired by, i tink it was called the moonshiners or moon shine runners, something like that.

I have been reading all the post of us whining and bitc#!*g, that the characters wont be in the movie, no flag, jessica is rude, ok so what. First off I love the originals, but how can you feasably put john, tom, cathy, ben, sonny, james, flash (god rest his furry soul), in the movie. It would be a distraction, yes we want to see them, but people it is not their show, it is the property of the warner bros., all they were is actors. I know that I am not gonna see it because I just can't stand the whole reason behind it. All they did for a cast is pick whoever is popular right now. They are aiming it at Teens and Adults. Man O Man, I could kick myself in the ass for not carrying my camera 24/7. The crew at The Boar's Nest was the biggest yet. They busted some serious tail yesterday to finish up and all I can say is WOW. I came back through late and got some night shots. It gets dark around 5:00 over here so its the best I could come up with right now but I'm on my way out for more building shots. There were 2 jeeps there, 2 of Boss's cars and a BIG 18 wheeler which must have carried them there or was housing some LEE's. They have a manlift for some aerial shots and tons of crew, cast and extra transport vehicles. I don't know if they were shooting inside or rehearsing something, or …

I just found out that the reason why the Dukes movie has been pushed back to August 5th. The reason is that Warner Brothers have made 2 car movies for this summer. The Dukes of Hazzard and a new Herbbie movie.. They have decided now to put out the Herbbie film first. Someone at Warners must have thought it was a better idea to do this.

its great to see that the WB is making progress Bo Luke and diasy have are cast but havent heard about jesse rosco or cooter. articales say its not exactly like the original dukes its being written directed by a guy who wrote super troopers Don't know if I like the sound of that. the general lee should be like the original general but who knows what they will do. I hope it has the charactoistis of the original and it sounds to me like they are going to make it different????? The original cast should appear in the movie but who knows if they will get the chance???????
