Hi fans, New forum writer here. I posted in another section saying that I am new here, but have been watching the show since it was new on TV. I have met Tom Wopat in person while he was doing a show in Michigan. I asked him if he is doing anything with John. He didn't know. That was back in 1989. (Tom freguents a theater in Augusta, MI) read about it on a website!!! The theater is only 1 hour drive from me. So, right now...I want to find out if anybody is traveling to Cooter's place to meet any of the other characters? Let me know..

hey y'all .. I just to get everybodies opinion on this here book - The Dukes Of Hazzrd (the unoffical companion) by David Hofstede. Maybe some ways to improve the book or just thoughts on it.... I am sure most of y'all got this book anyways.... I like the book, just wish that there were maybe a photo section in it, some cast pictures, behind the scene stuff.....things like that... Any thoughts? Darrell

For some reason i could almost swear there were 3 cast changes to the original Duke boys.....online i can only find the originals with schneider, and the coy/vance pair...i thought there was one more.

from the beach. I'm so happy. I missed everything. It was so hot. The heat index yesterday was 115, and i tried not to leave my house. I did get sunburnt, lost some money ($20) witnessed a car accident, and because of my 7 yr old neice I saw and met Aaron Carter at the House Of Blues. I did have a great time and i'm glad to be back. Alright a little back ground on the situation at hand. Im not much of a Mopar man i perfer my Fords. But dont get me wrong who doesnt love the General? Well abt a year and a half ago I wrecked my Mustang. and i finally got it redone and my body work completed so about 6 months ago i got it painted the General Lee Orange., mainly becuz i like the color and ive never seen a 93 foxbody mustang with that paint sceam. Well abt 1 month ago what do i see? A car exactly like mine with the exact color. YOu wanna talk about pissed. I thought abt keying the car but i decided against that. So i was just searchin around on Ebay on day and found the General Lee Decal Kit for 200 bucks…

I am confused! I thought I remembered this car from the series but, maybe it is just from the game? I was looking through the episode guide and can not find which episode it was in, if it was at all! I watched most of the original airings of the show as a kid and loved it and now I am buying and watching the DVD's and watching them with my(7yr.old) Son! I was just on the CMT website looking up episodes of the series and the last few sounded pretty weird to me. One is about Roscoe being replaced by a robot and another is about Bo and Luke meeting an alien from outerspace. The Dukes and sci-fi don't really mix, so what's up with these episodes? Is there more to this than meets the eye or were these shows really as bad as they sound?

today i was listenin to my radio on the way to work and they had the Dukes VP on. They asked him what qualifications he had for the job his answer was, "the same as most if not all Dukes of Hazzard fans." then they asked him why he thought he got the job and not the "next best qualified" person? He answered, "You know i think it's cause i have a strong resemblance to Luke." HA YEAH RIGHT . he looks nothin like the hot Luke Duke. I couldn't help but laugh out loud at the answer. I just picked up the season 4 DVD set, and I'm wondering why they went with single sided discs this time around?

When Season 5 gets its eventual DVD release, who should be on the cover? I'm curious to find out if both Bo and Luke as well as Coy and Vance are on the cover (remember, Bo and Luke return later in Season 5)... I, along with others I know, are hoping other cast members make it to the cover. I would prefer a full cast shot for the cover of any upcoming season...and we have a good start in that Boss Hogg appears on the cover of Season 4 to be released in August. So what are your thoughts for a cover for Season 5?

They didn't cause anyone to leave the show. Somebody had to fill in. I honestly think they did a great job until Bo/Luke returned. I enjoy their shows and think they should be considered a part of the Duke family. It seems like a lot of people think of them as villians and I just don't get it. If you guys ever read this board I for one say thanks for holding down the fort.
