I was reading an article in TVGuide Canada about a month ago. It was all about favorite TV bars and the Boar's Nest made the top 10. Apparently, Waylon Jennings and friends hung out at a bar in Nashville and they nicknamed it the Boar's Nest, so that's how the Boar's Nest got its name in Hazzard County.

Are you all familiar with the term "Jump the Shark"? I wasn't until I came across this site, so here it is: "It's a moment. A defining moment when you know that your favorite television program has reached its peak. That instant that you know from now on...it's all downhill. Some call it the climax. I recently rented the first DVD of the first season. Nice drive down memory lane, as I saw the original show when I was a freshman in high school. Anyway, there was en episode where Unlce Jesse fired up his old still - so that he could make some moonshine for a non-fossil fuel contest held by the government. A very pretty, dark-haired female FBI agent (revenuer) was a guest-star in that episode, and I thought she looked familiar.
