Just wanted to wish a good Father's Day to all the dads here. Of all the things a person can do for a living, there is no job more important, or more challenging, than being a parent. I heard somethin' at a Native American gathering today, that is worth sharing. I'm going to repeat it the best I can: "We all have many fathers. We are the product of generations of ancestors. Mothers and fathers who endured hardships, traveled great miles, and fought many wars so that we could be born." "We who are fathers today cannot know the path that our childern will walk. We can only make our sons and daughters strong for the journey. We can guide them but it is up to them to ch…

Christopher Nelson, a/k/a "Slick", was awarded the $100,000 contract by CMT to be the voice of the Dukes of Hazzard fandom. As the VP of the Dukes of Hazzard Institute of CMT, he has little to do other than watch the Dukes, write a blog, and smile for the camera. It's a job that anybody would love to have - and let's be honest, it's a job that just about anybody could probably do. And so when Nelson was announced as the winner, the HazzardNet staff gave a collective shrug and wished him well. Since that time, we have been made aware of some details that cause us to seriously question CMT's choice. We will share these details as objectively and factually as pos…

Hi, this is my first post here. I'm a Dukes nut from Australia. From what I have seen on the 'net, the Dukes box set DVDs are only available in Region 1, for the North American market. I have searched locally for it, but no one down here knows of it, nor does it appear on their stock lists. Does anyone know if/when the DVDs will be available overseas, particularly in Region 4 ? Thanks

Greetings from Hazzard Tn. I'm planning to buy my copy of Season three @ Dukesfest, provided if Cooter's Place or somebody sells them out there. Now there is something I have to know and if anybody can respond before Friday, I would be most grateful. CARNIVAL OF THRILLS: Is this episode in its original 2 hour movie format, or is the episode in its daily syndicated 2 parter format? The answer to this question will help me know what to expect when I view the episode, plus it will give me an idea of what they will do with the 10 Million Dollar Sheriff in the season four boxset. Thanks and Cheers. Will Rodgers The Voice Man

This may seem like an odd question, but does anyone have an idea where I might be able to get authentic reproductions of some of the shirts worn by Tom Wopat and John Schneider on "Dukes"? I have an authentic "Magnum, P.I." shirt as worn by Tom Selleck. There's a place in Hawaii that makes them, and you can get them in any size. Looks just like the one he wore on the show, it's pretty cool. This prompted me to see if I could find a place that actually makes replica "Dukes" shirts (for example, Bo's yellow shirt or one of Luke's many plaid shirts). I've searched the web, but turned up nothing. If anyone can help me out, let me know. -Keith

It recently occured to me that I posted this message on the fan fiction general discussion (There are WAY to many bleeping "general discussion" boards on this server) and I think I didn't find the answer cause I'm on the wrong board... So heres my original message.... Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone knows which episode a certain stunt is in... The stunt involves the General Lee doing a huge jump over a train thats carrying cargo things, and Roscoe also attempts the jump but ends up on his roof.... After that he ends up getting out of the car and kicking the tire/saying something Roscoe-ish... If anyone can tell me which episode thats from I'd appreciate it!

Hi y'all... I was wondering in the 1st reunion movie they said that the Double Zero was the first car to ever beat the General Lee in a race. Does anyone know in which episode this happened. I've seen all 147 episodes but don't remember having seen the Double Zero before!

Last Friday he was moving rugs for my grandma, which he wasn't supposed to and he just sat down on the floor, and hurt his butt. So Sunday night, he kept saying that he wanted to go to the ER, so luckily when my grandma called the hospital his doctor was there and said to take him Mon. afternoon. The next morning my grandma got him up and they ate breakfast, everything was fine. Then he told her that he was hot, which he was always cold. She got him a new shirt and helped him dress. then she was reading the newspaper and talking to him and he didn't say anything, she looked and he was gone. He had a heart attack. I feel like May 16th, has always a bad luck for my family. …
