did anyone watch the thing on cmt where they talked to the original cast? I did and i was cool! I even wrote to Ben Jones! He hasn't answered it but he will!

I was wondering if anyone knows if or when any of the new merchandise comes out like cars or anything. I heard the original soundtrack from the series comes out July 26th I think but will there be anything else? Where or When? Anybody know?

There was an item on the news last night about a dog and her nine puppies being rescued from neglectful owners. The puppies were infested with maggots and five of them had to be put down. Then in the morning paper, there was a small article about them and a picture of the mama dog, Heidi, and her four remaining puppies, Daisy, Bo, Luke, and Boss Hogg, who are now with a foster family. We're trying to include the article and picture, but we can't figure out how to post it.

Here's something to look for and enjoy. Tonight, while watching "The Great Insurance Fraud" C&V episode on CMT, there was a moment worth my while. Allow me to share. The bad guy sneaks up on Vance and karate-chops him from behind. Vance keels over and bonks his head on the table, and lays there lifelessly. YEEHAAA!!! Awright, let's see that again!! *WHACK!* *THUD!!* I used to shun the Coy and Vance episodes, but now I'll tune in just to see 'em get roughed up by the bad guys du jour. Not sure how many UK Dukes fans there are on here - but earlier today I caught an advert on Bravo over here advertising the Dukes. Hurrah ! I hope they get to show them all , strangely we don't get CMT over here on digital TV and yet when I had analogue Satellite we had it ??!! I'm very pleased with this news, so maybe I'll get to see (and tape) all those episodes I haven't seen for 20 years plus ! Does anyone know if they will go ahead with Season 5 on DVD ???? I guess they would have to have Coy and Vance on the box surely ??, or maybe just the supporting cast ?? does anyone know yet we're still waiting for Season 1 but it's going to be out following the movie...

With the Coy and Vance episodes looking to start this week on CMT, it got me thinking what might could have been done with these characters if the producers just hadn't made them simple Bo and Luke clones. Here's my take on what could have been done with these characters: First, Coy. What if Coy and his family were still running shine? Nowhere was it stated that Jesse was the only Duke in the shine business and if it was a family tradition, it seems to me that some of his brothers and sisters would have been in it as well. Also, the agreement that Jesse signed said that he would never make moonshine again for Bo and Luke's freedom. It didn't say anything about the wh…

I found a website that had pictures from the scenes of Dukes of Hazzard. I think there were four different episodes. I know one was The Days of shine and roses. Silly me forgot to save it in my favourites. Does anyone know the website url

LOL I was reading through the posts here tonight and could swear I read one where somebody said they saw on Amazon.com that an updated version of the Unofficial Companion is coming out at some point. But I can't find the post and I just checked Amazon and don't see anything about any new book coming out. HELP! Did I imagine this or what?? I personally never thought i was attracted to Cooter that much until last night. I had a dream where i thought Cooter died and everything and i was devistated. I cried and cried and suddenly he showed up. I threw my arms around him telling him i thought he had died and yet agian cried. Then this was a little weird. We kissed pasionatly and i really enjoyed it. When i woke up i wished the dream went on longer. I thought i was more obsessed with bo.

You can download them either a picture at a time or in a zip file containing all the caps from a specific episode. Hope this is helpful to people

CMT and Great really did a piss-poor job of hiring a VP. The guy they picked, "Slick" is a fictional character who didn't even understand that CMT was hiring someone for this position not electing them to office. Apparently CMT didn't understand the promotion either. His campaign platform as stated by his website included: Making Daisy Duke shorts mandatory uniform for girls in public high schools. Legalize prostitution. Refer to all handicapped and mentally challenged people as "Cooter" So when he isn't hitting on high school girls, or with a prostitute, he has fun by calling handicapped people "Cooter"? Does anyone on here have the DVD's from Travis Bell (president of the North American General Lee Fan Club) . He has a few DVD's he made.. 1. Return To Hazzard - Georgia 2. Return To Hazzard - California 3. Return To Hazzard - Georgia 2 These are documetaries on the filming locations an what they look like now. I am looking for a any reviews of these before I get them. There was a post in the movie section, calling the show campy. I agree the show was campy. At first all it was to be was a mid season filler, which means it was doomed from the start, the fact it lasted 7 years is a miracle. To make the movie accurate, they had to use younger actors, Johnny knoxville as Luke, wasnt really a good idea, he has more of Bo's personality, just give him a blond wig. But quit damning the movie, we are beginning to sound like star wars fans here, (remember them, we used to beat them up, and call them geeks).
