Yes, it's true. For anyone who missed the announcement on our homepage, the HazzardNet staff (well, most of it ) got together and nominated the employee of the month ( namely, the one who wasn't around to defend herself.) Before anybody does the math, remember that our employee of the month system will probably work on the same calendar principal as our "fan of the month" and our "monthly newsletter." Hey guys, I can't believe I just noticed this one and I can't believe they didn't re-write the script, unless they did it as a joke ( I feel there's a lot of stuff I see on the show, that HAD to be a joke among cast and crew.) I was watching this last night. Remember when Loretta Lynn was kidnapped and they were taking her to that barn in an RV? She threw pics of herself out the back window, so someone would find them and follow them to her. However, the blue car that the crooks were driving pulled into the barn immediately after the RV did. WHY DIDN'T THE CROOKS IN THE CAR NOTICE SHE WAS THROWING OUT PICS OF HERSELF???

General Lee #1 going up for auction at Barrett-Jackson. http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2012/01/03/original-general-lee-jumping-auction-block/?test=faces I can't believe it will get to the price they estimated ($1 mil). Not saying the car isn't worth it but if you know the history of Lee # 1 and what was done to it both in the restoration and who did the restoration it isn't worth much at all. OK...i've thought about this. OK....Hazzard is very small and doesn't even have it's own hospital. ( barely it's own police force...LOL !! ) We hear from Waylon, from time to time, about Shorty's All Night Rib Shack and Pizza Parlor, on Frontage Road. It never even shows Frontage Road on any episode and how much money and how many people would a city/town have to have, to have ANYTHING able to function all night/24 Hr. ???

hey, i know most of you know this but the DUkes are on CMT in Canada, well the problem is, that like most syndicated TV shows tehy are not running them in a very good order, and now after just 2 months they are starting teh same ones over! they never ran any with Clets at deputy, or when Rosco had FLash, or any with Coy and Vance.. what I think is that we need to all write to CMT Canada and coplain, i wrote a e-mail last night, have no idea if they will even care about it, but if enough ppl write to them it has to be noticed a bit anyways.. plus American's should be writing both CMT US and CMT Can, and tell them you want the Dukes in teh US too.. Howdy all, new to the site just saying Hi. I've been a fan for a while, just recently bought my own "General" still working on the little things but I'm getting there. It's a 69 charger with a 440 and 727 auto trans, body and paint are finished along the interior buckskin. see ya ltr.

i was wondering if any1 could tell me how many of the chargers were used during filming of the original season? one person told me that there was only two generals used in the entire program from begining to end. i don't see this as being possible. any1 that can answer this for me i will greatly appreciate it.

Hello all...This is my first post. Rick Hurst (Cletus) and the General Lee came to my home town this weekend for the World of Wheels. I went today mainly to get his autograph . Well I decided I would look around for a while first then catch Cletus and the General on the way out and save the best for last. Well when I came back around Cletus had already left It said online he was supposed to stay until 7 pm. When I came back it was around 5pm. I guess he got tired of signing or something. There's a new General diecast out,made by Autoworld I hope my parents get me one for my birthday

For years I had my Dukes of Hazzard DVDs stored in one of those boxes in which you can put 30 or more disks in. When I wanted to watch one of the DVDs yesterday, I noticed that that disk was sticking. So I gently pulled it out and there was something on the side where the data is stored. On this Disk are the episodes: 4. Robot P. coltrane, 5. No more Mr. Nice Guy and 6. The Dukes in Hollywood. I tried playing the disk and from episode 4 and 6 I can not view anything and from episode 5 I can view about 75%. I have tried to play it in my laptop, Xbox 360 and even my old Playstation 2 I have tried cleaning it with a cloth and water as this was the best method i could find on…

There is guy that I worked with at BurgerKing and I knew his entire family and worked with go to there baby showers and birthdays and wedding. YAY First post! Anyhoo, most of you may or may not know that without James Best there would be no Bandit and probably no Dukes Of Hazzard either. How you may ask? Well, if you think about it James Best coached Burt Renyolds and helped him start his acting career. So if James hadn't have been at one time an acting coach and Burt never studied under him Burt might never have become the bandit. Sure the bandit might've been made because of the ideas in the directors head but Burt might never had been included in it along with Jerry. Or Jerry might've been the bandit in all three movies. (Though as much as I love Jerry Reed he just didn't fit the bandit namesake.) Anyway…

I just don't understand CMT. They are now rerunning old episodes of Roseanne. Why would you do that but drop Dukes of Hazzard? Where is the consistency in their policies? I realize that it's their station and they can do whatever they want but geeez! Bring back the Dukes.

Watching "The Great Santa Claus Chase" makes me think something was cut out on the DVD. During the opening before the theme starts Cletus says, "is nothing sacred", then during the episode the scene is never shown. Anybody else catch this? Atlfan
