Can't believe I don't know.  Did Rosco and the rest of the Hazzard law wear boots, or black police shoes?

I had to search through literally minutes of footage (pun intended) to find an answer. The image below is from just over five minutes into 'One Armed Bandits' (aka. the very first episode), and in that, Rosco wears boots.

Hmmmm, I never really thought about it or paid attention. It just goes to show ya...there's always something to learn. I do know that Bo made a big mistake when he bought boots through the mail. 

I'm not sure if it always was the boots and not somtimes shoes but I'm pretty sure he always had his trouwsers over his boots with maybe a rare exception if he's using another way of transportation.
