I just finished a list of all the dirt bikes that were on the Dukes of Hazzard and will post it shortly. If anybody knows of any errors let me know. Please note that these are dirt bikes only, not street bikes. There were dirt bikes in 6 of the episodes Miz Tisdale was on. She was in 11 episodes. She was also mentioned on 3 other eps but didn't appear. According to my numbers, there were 16 episodes that had dirt bikes in them....at least. I wouldn't be surprised if I find more. Come to think of it.....what kind of bike was it that Cooter used to bust down the door of the Boar's Nest in a Georgia ep? Sounds like I have more work to do.

Wonder if the Duke boys would have jumped this around Hazzard. I love that the stripes follow the curve of the body. Hope it gets restored with that paint job. Heck put the 1776 flag on the roof and call it General Washington.

This may have been posted before, but as I was looking at the page that shows all the cars used by characters in the show, I noticed there was some inaccuracies when it came to Daisy's cars. True, she started out the show with a yellow 1973/74 Plymouth Road Runner...but the story goes, when parts became too difficult to find to repair the few they had on the show, they switched to a 1971 Plymouth Satellite Sebring...painted with the Road Runner paint scheme. So, the '71 she used was actually a Satellite, and not a Road Runner. Just FYI. I missed this story at the end of last year, but luckily it was mentioned on the new series of 'The Grand Tour'. Here's a '68 Dodge Charger fitted with the 426 Hemi Hellephant crate motor similar to the one found in the Hellcat. As well as the 1,000-hp engine, there's a six-speed manual transmission, six-piston Brembo brakes and Hellcat wheels measuring 20 inches in front and 21 inches in back. More info here. Hello everyone, I just bought a 1968 Ford F350 and am starting the process of turning it into a 1967 Cooter Ford wrecker clone. I hope to have it done in time to take it to Cooter's Last Stand this summer. I have taken out the grille (I have a 67 grille in my basement) and other trim pieces, in preparation to redo a cab corner, fill in door mirror holes, then strip the old paint and repaint. Then I will take the bed off of the black Chevy in the picture, and move it over to my Ford. This is my general lee a little different take, the graphics are done in a ghost image. At the moment it’s only the door numbers but the rest will be done in a few years when i take the vinyl top off and paint it orange. The flag and name will be added at that time. The engine is only 318 but that ok it’s good on gas and still sounds nice with the glass pack and mild cam that it has. Car shots:

After finishing a 1969 Charger R/T project that was on again/off again for 11 years, It was amazing to drive my project down the road and cruise in it. All that hard work, patience and money spent had finally paid off. Now don’t get me wrong I love driving/crusin’ in my 69, but I really missed having a project. I missed having something to go out in the shop in and work on in my spare time. Hey y'all! I know my presence here over the past couple of months hasn't been great. I've had some big changes in my life. From my Granda dying, to finishing school, to a nasty breakup and lengthly fight with my ex. Anyway I'm back now with my latest crazy invention! Well when I say invention I really mean this : This was my Granda's car, which he gave to me just before he left us. It's a 1997 Opel Corsa, which is a fairly popular small European car. It's popular largely due to its small fuel efficient engine, and it being relatively cheap to run and modify. I found a '79 F350 wrecker a while back and the guy held it for me until I could buy it. It had been his yard crane for years and he finally just parked it. After it sat for 5 years, slowly sinking into the ground, we used a back hoe to pull it out of it's grave. A testament to old Ford trucks. I had it fired up and running in 30 minutes after we got it home. The brakes on the other hand were a different story. I had to replace all the steel lines, brake hoses and brake master and booster. I also replaced all the fuel lines and filter. I just took it for it's maiden voyage today. I still have lots of work to do, but it's well on it's way to becoming a useful piece of equ…

Hey y'all! I'm in my final year of school, and have big exams at the end of the year. One of the exam subjects I do is woodwork, and we're allowed to make anything we want (within reason). I started off building a wooden bike frame, but I wouldn't have had enough time to finish it. I then decided to make a wooden push go-kart. Well I'm at it again! While I'm waiting for my friend with the welder to come home, my over imaginative mind went into overdrive. Firstly let me begin with this bike. I got it back in July, and used it as a parts bike. After I stripped it down to the bare frame I left it sitting in my scrap pile, which I would eventually take to the scrap yard. It was around this time that I decided to build my own bike. I needed a front steering pipe (headset) for the bike, so I cut the one out of the scrapped blue frame. After building, modifying and generally working on bikes for the past few years I've decided to step things up a notch, and have a go at designing,fabricating and building my own custom bike frame. I went through about a dozen designs, before finally settling on this one. This is a cross between an American beach cruiser, and a chopper motorcycle. I've decided to use only materials I have in my garage for this build. Luckily I have some round steel tubing, which is ideal for the frame. Hey y'all! Since I started working on bikes, I've picked up a few tricks and come up with a few myself. Here's one that I tried recently. I came home from a months holiday down the country on Sunday. I left two parts bikes sitting outside, and when I got home nuts and bolts had seized on them. WD40 partially worked, but it was still a struggle. Then I remember hearing that cola is meant to be good at loosening up rusted and seized bolts. I was a little skeptical, but went out to buy a could bottles of various sodas. Hi y'all!! My brother recently got a new bike, and he gave me the old one to use for parts. Well when I say he gave me it, it was more like," I'm giving you this bike, but you have to go and get it". I should explain at this point that he left it at our grandparents house three years ago, and never got round to collecting it. It sat neglected and forgotten, slowly being swallowed by the ivy in their back yard. Hey y'all I've decided to strip down and rebuild my daily rider to it's former glory. I got it in 2007 for my birthday, and it's the last bike that my parents bought me. However despite it being the youngest bike I have, it's in the worst condition by far. It barely ran (only in the gear ratio 1-5), the front wheel was buckled from a collision with a car last year,the gears were gone, the back brake jammed whenever I used it, someone stole the badge from the front if the bike, the front brake barely worked and the rubber on the brake was torn off in the car collision and I never got round to fixing it, the rear tire was ready to burst (it had a duct tape patch holding i…

As I mentioned in my introduction post, I have a '68 Charger 'General Lee' and I thought I should share a pic or two. This photo shows the car when I first imported it to the UK. It was just a rolling shell, already painted in Hemi Orange with a 440 and a mismatched set of Vectors, and not much else! This is the Georgia-era inspired nudge bar I designed and made. Hey y'all I've had this idea for a while, but it seemed that whenever I'd try to do it I always faced some obstical that forced me to stop. Now however I'm trying it. I've always been fascinated with motorbikes,mainly Harleys. Around Christmas of last year I began toying with the idea of fitting a gas engine from a lawnmower,chainsaw or weed wacker. Last weekend I put that idea to paper, and within three hours of deciding on this project bought a bike. The badge says it was made in west Germany, so it's atleast 25 years old.
