I guess this goes here. You probably know this guy, but if you don't. Tom Sarmento is one of the guys who prepared General Lee's for the show and is full of great stories about it. Hoss has a great video of him, I cant find it at the moment... But anyway. He met up with two big Duke fans from my country twice now and they have recorded some footage of him driving in their almost perfect replica General Lee which I thought was worth sharing.

I just realized, there's no thread for bloopers with the General Lee (if there is, I don't know where). Now I have come across pictures with bloopers in them: Case and point there is a picture of the General Lee somewhere with the 01 backwards. It has a cast member standing infront of it. Somehow, I wonder if it was a publicity photo (those General's actually didn't have the numbers on them) who someone tried to fill in the numbers and had dyslexia or something. I spent the day at the All American Car, Truck & Bike Show in Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath. American cars are pretty rare here (there's a '65 Mustang I've seen around a couple of times, and there's a guy about 10 miles away with a Dodge Ram pickup), so to see so many in one place was great. Hey y'all!! I've been a Dukes fan for as long as I can remember,so when the opportunity came last summer to build a General Lee bike I was more than willing. I worked round the clock,stopping only for food and sleep,for 3 weeks until finally my General Lee was complete. I had stripped the bike down to metal,and replaced every single part with a new part. I spent nearly every day of the summer tearing around the country roads of Sligo. Unfortunately just before easter,the General Lee was stolen from outside my school. Well my dream car is a 68 or 69 charger i have had no problems finding one but cant afford it yet. So i figured i would post this for those of you who are looking for a charger as well. the only thing is i only know of the one place by me that always has the chargers, i don't know of anywheres else. i've been looking everywhere for pictures of the general lee when it was black. i know that it appeared black in "a little game of pool" and "happy birthday general lee" but those two episodes were in season 5 and 7...which arent out yet. i've searched the interenet, but all i've been able to find are thumb-nail sized pictures...does anyone know where i can find some good-quality clips (that i can blow up to see detail)? or am i gonna have to wait for season 5? --katie

O.K., So I have a question regarding The Generals screen accurate CB antenna. I know the screen correct antenna is a Radio Shack Tear Drop antenna. I have seen a few of these in person. Some appear to be a very dark grey. Some appear to be a dark brown. I also know there are companies producing the Tear Drop as a REPRODUCTION. Please let me know what you guys think should be correct color ???. Thanks in advance.

Hey guys i have been a dukes fan for years and i really wanna build me a General Lee i live here in arizona and i want a General but i thought about waiting so i wasnt driving it everyday but now after watching the movie trailer and seeing all the great pics of your guys Generals im thinking about changing my mind and building one as a daily driver that and i live in an apartment so i dont have a garage to build a General in right now so i thought buy one i can drive and fix up at the sametime what should i do im torn i would love everyones opion on this matter please help
