I'm sure most of you have seen this, as have I, but I just thought I post it. The very first car to be deemed, "General Lee". I just hope the photo works.

Reading about Jaak's General Lee Pushbar and wheels I wondered, what do the people of HazzardNet like the most of have on their General Lee? Basically what is your Dream General Lee? I'd like to know. Here's my preferences. 1969 Dodge Charger R/T in Big Bad Orange (I know General Lee wasn't an R/T) Ford Racing V8 No trim on wheel well and roof Early season General Lee lettering Georgia spacing of the 01 (Further apart than most) Small Pushbar (I like it more and wide one isn't even allowed in my country) BFGoodrich Radial T/A tyres with the white text on the outside Roll bar with the crossbar like in most seasons. Steering wheel without the horn ring. Black interior Avan…

http://crzycsglgraphics.bravehost.com/ Arguably the best quality graphics out there (if you disagree I'm open to discussion about it) but definitely not the least expensive. Price is anticipated to go up 20% or more in the next month or two, so if you want to get some of these graphics, now's a good time.

I'm planning on making a General Lee for a 1:18 Scale RC Car that I have.... Actually, I have a few of these Cars, and am planning to make something for each of them....more on that later, possibly.... Anyway....getting back to The General Lee....mine won't be 'Screen Accurate', by any means, but, I will at least *try* to make mine as accurate as my skills will allow To that end, I have a question to start off with....probably more, as I go.... When I was looking through Google Images for Decals etc., I saw a number of results with a Race Flag as well....is this just a Marketing thing, or was this actually on The General Lee…

Years ago there was a website that gave all the particulars about building a GL, including the proper placement of the decals. That site is no more, and I've lost the instructions with my decal kit. Is there a source for measurements and the like? Thanks.

I was in a department store yesterday looking at the magazine rack and the General Lee caught my eye. It was on the front of a small magazine that was advertising classic MOPARs. Inside there was a General for sale in Missouri for $70,000. (my wife doesn't like the idea of cashing out my retirement fund to buy it). I was pretty thrilled to see the General!

Has anyone heard about this? NHRA Drag Racer Bo Butner painted his car like the General Lee. It's a Camaro body, however Bo Butner is a huge Dukes Of Hazzard Fan. In fact his name is James Butner but he changed it to Bo when he saw the Dukes Of Hazzard. Here's a link to an article about his 'General Lee'. http://www.foxsports.com/motor/story/nhra-the-general-lee-dukes-of-hazard-las-vegas-102816

Right, so my brother went to a car show a while back, and he managed to snap these pics for me. I figured I might as well share them beings I've been lurking. I believe these were taken in Slower, Lower Delaware (The southern half of the state).

Is the CB radio in the General Lee in the old TV series a Cobra 77x or 78x? I seem to remember reading that the Cobra 78x was used in the TV series but want to be sure.

For several years now I've been seeing Ebay adds for fresh built General Lees from various places in Indiana always with a "Buy it now" of $22,000 to $25,000. The photos are always the same as is the description but the seller's user name is different on every auction. The auction promises a freshly built General Lee with a warranty and free shipping. Anyone here purchase their General from this fellow? Doesn't seem legit to me.

About 18 months ago, Byron Cherry tried to sell his personally owned General Lee on Ebay for $150,000 (see the HNet homepage article here). The car obviously didn't sell, because it reappeared on Ebay a few months later with a "Buy it now" price of $99,000. When it didn't sell again, there was an announcement that he was donating the car to the Tim Welborne Muscle Car Museum in Alabama. You can see that thread here (along with a link to a video of Byron and his daughter with the car). Now, Byron seems to be selling the car on Ebay again (thanks to Mufn for posting the link on the HNet FB page). This time the auction doesn't include all the memorabilia in the trunk. The bi…

I'm at it again guys! I know I haven't been online much recently, I'm sorry I just haven't had the time. I have however, managed to get 3 free bikes. One was abandoned at my school and given to me by the principal, one was given to me by my neighbour and the third was found next to a dumpster near my house. I'm sure some of you are wondering what happened to my Xtreme Lee project. I got it finished A couple of weeks ago, and forgot to hook up the brake cables on the first test ride. Let's just say bent forks and a bend in the frame are too damaged for even me to repair. I stripped the bike, and in a move mirroring the car builders of the series, cut off all the decals a…

Hey y'all! I'm sorry I haven't been on much recently, but I have been thinking about new topics! One of them is to do with the narrow minded people who get offended by the flag on the General Lee. As far as I know any Dukes merchandise is now being sold without the confederate flag. To be perfectly honest, I want to upset the narrow minded idiots who pressured WB into removing the flag. Just out of curiousity, does anybody know if it would be illegal for me to buy toy General Lee's from the manufacturer in bulk, add the confederate flag to the roof, and sell them on at retail price? I don't see how it's illegal, as I purchased the goods, used them, and then sold them. …

My wife plays roller derby and the team is putting together a calendar. She has a name similar to Daisy and number is 01. We love the south and would like to get a few pictures with her all dolled up next to a general lee. The owner of the car would get free tickets to a roller derby bout and a copy of the calendar. We live close to Tacoma, WA. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
