"A motorcycle makeover inspired by a couple of good ol' boys from Hazzard County, Ga., revved up what could have been just another church youth group meeting. " Article includes a fact I didn't know, "country music legend Johnny Cash helped actor John Schneider (Bo Duke) embrace Christianity." http://www.rrstar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050129/ENTERTAINMENT/501290301 "Ministry leaders screened a rock-infused video in which they performed a skit mimicking the conflicts often captured on the TV show"

Does anyone know any good websites where I can find Dukes Of Hazzard pictures until the photo gallery is back up?

Hey y'all,in the episode Dukescam Scam I noticed a couple of things. When the Dukes stop Emery Potter and reverse away from his torino you can see a fair amount of damage on the hood and bumper or fender. It seems to me that John crashed into the back of Emery's car on a previous take. Also while Bo is hiding behind the front seats of Rosco's car,the camera cuts to Rosco in the front seat with Flash between the front seats and you can see that John isn't in the back. And finally during the chase with Boss,Rosco and the Dukes at the start,as Boss drives by and turns right to go over the hill, the camera doesn't move in the direction that Boss goes. Now that's to film General …

There is a funny scene I have stuck in my head, but I can't remember what episode it's from. Bo and Luke are are hiding in the back of Cooter's truck when Rosco pulled them over.....Rosco wants to search the truck and Cooter says "you can search, but whatever you do stay out the front of the truck...."....then Luke hooks Rosco's car up to the tow truck, so when they drive away they take Rosco's car with them. Very funny scene....

  6. OMG y'all... I just found out about another Hazzard/Mayberry connection. The one guy in the military when Ernest T. Bass wants to join, he is Hobie Hartkins the town drunk from Dukes.

  7. Started by Hobie Hartkins,

I know I've asked this once or twice....( more?) but I forgot...please tell me if you know ( and I promise not to ask again)...what episode was it, where , I THINK, Jesse said, " Make it up on the road" or, " You'll have to make it up on the road" ? I'll write it down somewhere this time!

I have hinted to this new thread in the past. It's time to have a try. Now, Daisy Duke is my favorite character (beside Enos, of course ): Catherine is a beautiful woman, long legs, perfect silhouette, sweet smile and blue-green eyes (I know that men out there agree). BUT Daisy Duke is also famous because of her outfits, especially those short shorts that took her name. Along the show is the one who change her outfit in every episode, and sometimes also along the same episode. Ready for a belly-full of Daisy? A perfect show of short shorts and tight top. I find her fashion really graceful and never vulgar, don't you think? Stay tuned for more examples of Daisy's outfit…

How many watched the Dukes Friday night?? I started with one armed bandits and finished all of season one today. January 26, 1979 was a day or night that will always be in my memories. I was 5 years old and my mom said I had never sat still that long ever lol. Them first five episodes will always be my favorites since they were filmed in Georgia. Still such a good show.

Did anyone 'sides me notice that in Season 4 Dukes in Danger, the shirt escaped convict Leeman stole to wear was Bo's Blue shirt from Season 1 High Octane, and the shirt Hammer stole to wear was Bo's Red Checkered Plaid Flannel from the flashbacks in Season 7 Happy Birthday General Lee.

I couldnt find this topic when I did a search, but if this has been brought up before...sorry. I thought about this the other night. I mean a lot of hardcore old fans aren't thrilled with the people playing Boss, Bo, Luke, Daisy etc. However, what if this movie is a huge hit with the younger generation? What if those 15-20 somethings can't get enough of it. Would that popularity force WB make a new TV series? It wouldn't be the first time people have tried to cash in from the success of a movie. Thoughts?

  12. It's not Rick Hurst's Deputy Cletus Hogg from the TV series voice in The Dukes of Hazzard Return of the General Lee PlayStation 2 and Xbox. But that Deputy in this scene, is it supposed to be Deputy Cletus Hogg? Deputy:"Miss Daisy, I can't let you into Boss's office." Daisy:"Not even a tiny weenie little peek? I promise I won't be long." Deputy:"Ain't nothin' in the world gonna move me from this door Miss Daisy." (Dixie horn outside the Boars Nest.) Deputy:"Those durn Dukes, I'll git 'em!"

It just came to me that sometimes when talking to others in real life, I use sayings from Dukes of Hazzard, like "Keep it between the ditches". "I love it, I love it" is another of my favorites and I use is a lot. Any one else besides me do this?

  16. Hi ya'll! Just came up with this for fun. You know you've been watching Dukes of Hazzard too much when... 1. You call your best friend a dipstick. 2. Your boss is your "little fat buddy." 3. When you need a new license plate, you try to get CNH 320. 4. You try to drive like Bo. 5. You name your kids or animals after characters in the show. (Oh I plan on doing this one!) 6. You practice so that you are just as good with a bow and arrow as Luke and Bo are. 7. Your family car is equipped with a custom horn, the first 12 notes of "Dixie". 8. Your favorite outfit is a pair of tight blue jeans, cowboy boots, and a yellow and blue or blue checkered shirt. 9. You try …

  17. What are ya'lls favorite special features on the DOH DVDs..... i loved the BBQ and the Good Ol' Friends ones, but then again I loved all the special features....lol!!

  18. Has anyone every figured this out? Been watching some eps on CMT and trying to nail down the interior layout. Of course I've noticed the way they changed things around occasionally. From what I've observed so far, it looks like at some point they completely swapped the two sides of the room relative to the front door. Here's a start (although not perfectly scaled): https://www.flickr.com/photos/10867551@N00/14610424077/sizes/l/

I was going to do one of these for every character, but there are too many good conversations... I love so many, but I'll start with one... Rosco: You're beautiful, Boss, Just beautiful. Boss: Beautiful? Real nice lookin' maybe. Not beautiful. [boss walks out] Rosco: Ain't that the truth. He's a whole mess of ugly.

Ok can anyone name all of the country singers that played at the end of The Dukes? Also can anyone name the songs that they sang? I know that there was Lorretta Lynn, Waylon Jennings, and the Oakridge Boys. Weren't they on twice? If I am correct I think that it was a big thing for them to play on the show. Thanks

This isn't Friday night....but close! Where is everybody? Where are all the regular Hazzardites I usually see on here? I hope people will be here for the party! Right now I'm indulging in some adult beverages!

When/why did they start using the remote/radio cars for the jumps? Man...it looks so bad and fake....that's why I don't watch the later seasons. ruined the show....I remember Tom talking and being disgusted about it.

The Dukes of Hazzard fans... How many of you caught the mistake in the General Lee's paint job in Coy and Vance Season 5 episode Big Daddy? The scene where the roof says GENRERAL LEE instead of GENERAL LEE like it should.
