Dukes of Hazzard Episodes

After watching Witness Jesse Duke,it got me thinking. Seen as it was the last full Coy and Vance episode why didn't the directors or producers (or whoever decided what episode was filmed in what order) have Bo and Luke written into that episode and have Coy and Vance leave at the end of that episode when Jesse regained his sight,instead of the brief 5 minute reunion in Welcome Back Bo and Luke. Judging from other emotional episodes, Bo and Luke would do anything to help out anyone or get to the hospital.So surely Uncle Jesse in a serious,possibly permanent condition would be more important than the NASCAR circuit. Just my opinion.

This is one of my favorite Duke Episodes I just love it I'm curious about that scene in the boxing match when Catfish is hitting Tom then he gives Tom one big punch he goes down for the count. Seeing as how Tom didn't ask for any stunt men in this episode when he was laying on the boxing ring mat was he unconicious for real cause in this poster I have of him he has this bruise on the end of his right eyebrow ? he wound up with a headache for 2 weeks he quotes that guy that played Catfish Sonny he beat the stuffing out of me for 2 days but he was stuck with the headache for 2 weeks.

Does Bo or Luke hold the baby?

Can anyone remember in which ep Bo said " You gotta call in the dogs to see if they're wet or your not gonna find out if its rainin' outside." It's drivin me absolutely insane that I can't remember. I do remember that when he said it he and Luke were sittin in the General and there was a girl in the back seat......and it wasn't Daisy.

I was watching my Columbia House video that have these episode's on them and their two points that I want to bring up. First of all the girl that plays Molly on Lulu's Gone Away is Shanna Reed which later would play Gerald McRainey wife on "Major Dad". Second in the beginning of "Too Many Rosco's Bo says to Rosco why don't you mail the ticket to him. And then he takes off, well now you can get a ticket of almost any kind in the mail except parking tickets. I like the leather jacket that James Best wears when he first comes out as "Woody", that has to be the onley episode where we get to see him casual.

What is your favorite season and why?

Does anybody know if the end credits scene (cop car chasing The General around in circles around trees) was ever shown in an actual episode? I'm assuming it would have been from Season 1, and most likely post-Georgia judging by the California-type scenery. Thanks!

I goin thru season 6 now but i remember back in the 80's that i saw two special moments, and i think they are season 6 or 7 Because i cannot remember seeing this moments again on any episode unless the dvd's are cut for some reason. 1 Today i've just watched "Too many roscoes" thinking that it was but it was not : Remember everybody in sheriff uniforms appearing from a hill or something screaming " im the real roscoe" , no no , im the real , no im the real ! 2 - Another episode i remember , the dukes in Jail and Cooter hooked his tow truck and took the bars of the Jail so the dukes could getaway. Thanks guys !!!

I can't remember the name of the episode ( I'm sure Hoss will know!) but it was the one where the little red haired kid with the whiney voice got the dog and the family who owned the dog, wound up adopting him. I came across it the other night and decided to skip over it. It's one of the ones I haven't seen but a handful of times ( like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Duke, etc. etc.) because I really don't like it. ( I guess there's 3-4 of them like that) but who was that kid? Where have I heard that voice before? It seems he may have done commercials or something. I just couldn't stand to hear that voice all the way through the episode droning and whining.

which episode is it that boss gets those people to wear masks to look like Bo and Luke?

I just rediscovered this episode and while, all in all, i consider it ok (not my fav) i have to say it has one of the funniest scenes of the whole show, right in the end, when Mary Lou thanks Luke with a kiss and Bo, who clearly seemed very attractd to her, only with a handshake...poor ol' Bo's reaction is priceless I think John Schneider made a great job in the show with such funny scenes, it seems we can find at least one in each episode.

When Henry goes to pick up the body, did you notice what movie was playing at the theatre at the time?

I've recorded Dukes episodes on VHS for quite a few years but for some reason, I have never been able to get a few episodes including the 2 parter '10 Million Dollar Sheriff' which starts on CMT on Tuesday, May 31st, 11pm Eastern time. I'll be curious as to what its like since I have seen most of the other episodes at least 5 times each. The only other episode I don't have recorded off TV on VHS is 'The Dukescam Scam' which debuts on CMT on June 8th. Then my VHS Dukes collection will be complete.

Ok I have an episode in my head and I cant remember all of it or even enough of it to figure out which one it is. Hopefully someone can help though. here are the clues. Bo is for the most part not in it. if he is at all its at the begining and is leaving to go some where. at one point Daisy and Luke are running to catch up with cooters tow truck which is the yellow one with the pitch fork(im pretty sure) on the back if I remember correctly daisy has on a black and white striped shirt but that is iffy. I have seen them all at least twice but I cant get it straight in my head which one that one is. any help is greatly appreciated Derrick

Baa, Baa White Sheep was funny, I thought it was really funny when Boss and Rosco went to jail at the end and Rosco said "This is embarrasing" and Boss was standing there with a mad look on his face just puffing away at his cigar. Abraham Lincoln Hogg was really interesting compared to Boss!!! Poor Daisy when she went in the quick sand we almost lost her... .

The Dukes of Hazzard Reunion(1997). It was 12 years ago at this time since the final episode of the Dukes aired on CBS. The characters went their separate ways. Bo went back onto the NASCAR Circuit. Luke became a smoke jumper for the Forestry Service. Daisy went to graduate school getting a P. H. D. in Ecology. She married a slick romeo named L. D., but it didn't work out. They divorced, and he got a job driving the bus for The Chick Weeds a Country band. Enos has returned from L. A. now a full fledged detective. Cooter became a Congressman for GA. Uncle Jesse is in trouble, and wrote to the 3 younger Dukes to come and help him out. Boss Hogg has passed away. Rosco is now…

I’m sure this has been brought up before, but I am currently watching the episode Happy Birthday General Lee right now. We all know the General Lee was a 1969 Dodge Charger R/T (although all models of both 69 & 68 Chargers were all customized to be the General for the show). However, in this episode (7th Season premiere—& directed by Tom Wopat) the old-codger junk car dealer tells the gold dust robbers that the Duke boys bought the...wrecked black “68 Coupe”, when they break out of jail & come looking for it. But, why did he say that?? The old black Charger the robbers first drove then Bo & Luke buy wasn’t a 68, it was a 69 like it was supposed to be...so…

Where Bo and Luke are in an airplane and Bo is looking out the window on the plane and says how small things are looking down from a plane?

I remember Bo and luke going into town, to the post office. Bo was picking up new boots he ordered. From there chaos ensues and I remember him running around in socks. Sorry if I'm remembering this wrong. Driving me crazy trying to figure it out. Thanks in advance.

One of my all time favorite episodes was the 2 hour Carnival of Thrills. I originally remember it being a 2 hour episode and airing like a movie. I'm hoping that it will be in that format on the Season 3 DVD boxset. I was really bummed out when Columbia House released it in its syndicated 2 part episode format. Same thing with the 10 Million Dollar Sheriff. Columbia House claims that Carnival of Thrills originally aired in 2 parts, but I only recall it as a 2 hour episode. Which way did it originally air?
