Dukes of Hazzard Episodes

I’m watching the 2nd episode “Daisy’s Song” at the moment. I love rewatching things that I’ve seen a ton of times, and still finding aspects I’ve never really thought about or noticed before! But, at the beginning when Daisy rushes out of the farm house (the original Duke farm house) to tell the family that her song is on the radio, there’s these other houses or sheds/cabins up behind them—and/or on the same property! I wonder whose those were...and what purpose did they serve? The Dukes didn’t have farm hands that I know of (they couldn’t afford them). How big was the Duke farm (all this pretending Hazzard world was real )? Just fun new questions that I know p…

Has anyone ever notice that Luke shuts the passager door on the general lee in the Days of Rose and Shine. it's the ridgerunner episode where they have a reunion of all the ridgerunner sit and watching movies. And Boss challenges Jesse to another race. It's when Luke puts the detour sign up to get Jesse back into the race. The first time I watched the dvd I never notice. Was watching this episode the other night, and I started to wonder about Uncle Jesse‘s and Boss Hogg’s age. In the beginning of the episode, they were supposedly watching old home movies of moonshine runs from the 1930s. Yet, Denver Pyle who played Uncle Jesse was born in 1920. And at one point the year 1932 was mentioned...yet he’d have only been 12 years old in ‘32. In the old home movies he and Boss looked to be about 30. In reality, Denver Pyle was only about 59 at this time. Was the character of Uncle Jesse supposed to be a lot older? With the white beard Uncle Jesse looked older, but boss didn’t necessarily look older than about late mid to late 50s. Yet he and Unc…

Just wondering if anyone else noticed this. In Repo Men, in the scene where Enos and Daisy are having a "man to man" talk, Enos grabs a lemon off of the Dukes kitchen table. At the end of the show, when Rosco sees the counterfeit plate in what's left of the Rolls, Enos is looking over Rosco's shoulder eating a lemon. Just goes to show that watching season one episodes over and over again causes one to be too analytical. Waiting for season two to come out.

Did anybody else notice that the actor who plays Matt Mallory is the same one who played Luke's friend Phil in The Great Hazzard Hijack? I find it slightly disturbing that in both cases his character is pretending that his significant other is his sister, and the female ends up flirting with the brunette Duke boy. I think that's a few too many coincidences.

The episodes are great don't get me wrong, but when watching Dukes of Hazzard I'd much rather see Bo & Luke than their replacements. Oh, and the jumps General Lee made I just love it. As cool as KITT is, never as much as the General. 😆

Watching the Season 1 finale again...Double Sting. It’s an okay episode, but not necessarily my favorite of the season. However, this time around I noticed something that for whatever reason I’ve not given much thought to before. When Uncle Jesse comes to the jail to bail Bo & Luke out, he gripes them out for making him have to use the farm mortgage payment. Okay...supposedly the Duke family had been farming there for almost 200 years (along with making moonshine). Whatever little land they had left around the Duke farm (as earlier in another episode Jesse talks about the depression ruining a lot of land), wouldn’t they already own it (and had for decades)? What season is Dr Jekyll & Mr. Duke in?

One of the best episodes of the whole series. Alot of fun moments. Flash, Rosco and Enos are just adorable. =) Bo shows some maturity. Trivia: Hurley looks an awful like Dawson from season 4's Ten Million Dollar Sheriff. LOL Daney

What was that guy doing to Boss Hogg's chin when he's in the office and has just a bed cover on and no socks? was he massaging it or trying to strangle Boss? I always got confused at that scene, or was Boss trying to loose weight fast again?

does anyone know the name of the episode and season when a relative or friend comes to visit. He has blond hair and a dirtbike? Thats all i remember. Would love to see that one again. Is it on dvd?

I watched last night Smallville episode and it seemed like it was a updated version of "Dukes In Danger" just a little freakier. Later in the night I was watching "Dukes In Danger" and Britney(my brothers Calico) watched as well. She really like watching this with me thow. She rest on the plastic box with new DVD movies in it right now. Anybody noticed that both Jonathan and Clark got some action in the movies, and Sheriff Adams knew what was going on with the Kents telling them. Boy she reported in that 10-11 and Rosco could take lessons from her dealing with stuff.

I'm thinking about getting one myself! The Dukes of Hazzard 47th Anniversary 1979-2026 Ring

One of the little projects I'm working on for the new forums is a Dukes of Hazzard Anniversary calendar that will display notable events in the Dukes history, like debuts of certain episodes, birthdays of the cast & crew, etc. If any of you have ideas pertaining to this project, feel free to post about them here. Does anybody know if the end credits scene (cop car chasing The General around in circles around trees) was ever shown in an actual episode? I'm assuming it would have been from Season 1, and most likely post-Georgia judging by the California-type scenery. Thanks!

Inspite of a sneaky title, this is a balanced slice of Hazzard life. The lake scene between Enos and Daisy is so sweet. Quotes Lulu "Actual cost" Bo "Take a break" Luke "Put him in the trunk" Daney

I loved this episode! It was really heartwarming how much Rosco cared about Enos leaving.

I have read that M.C. Gainey was the only actor that was on the show and the movie but that's not true in this ep an actor name Ritchie Montgomery who played (Elton) is also in the movie as a trooper
