I had watched the show" Along Came a Duke" and the actor that played him was cute. I had thought him and Bo looked a lot alike. Where has he been after he before I know I have seen him somewhere before.

I was thinking about this the other day, watching one of the episodes... and to be honest, I wasn't paying attention to which season it was from. But when I was a kid, I used to watch Saved By The Bell. For those of us who have seen or remember the show, you'll note that the actor who played the principal of the school, Dennis Haskins, was also an actor on the Dukes of Hazzard. He played one of the bad guys in one, or a few episodes.. I can't recall if he only appeared once or multiple times. My wife is a huge General Hospital fan. Today they were showing scenes from an upcoming episode and I saw a lady who looked familiar and my wife said "Oh, they're bringing her back!?" She told me that I knew she used to be on General Hospital because we talked about it before. My memory's not so good so I had to ask more details. She said that she used to be on the Dukes. *LIGHT BULB OVER MY HEAD* The lady in question is Diane Benson from Carnival of Thrills.

So I was just watching 'Double Dukes' with the commentary from Tom, John and Cathy. They had a whole discussion about the bad-dudes-of-the-week Turk & Moody. Now I have watched this commentary probably a half a dozen times, and I just finally caught a little somethin funny that John & Tom said about these two. John asked: "Why didn't these guys play Coy & Vance?" and then Tom replied: "They're too talented." I laughed soooo hard! It's true tho! I totally agree with Tom!

I was watching the episode Jude Emery the other night on CMT, and I was wondering about this. First, who is Sherriff Grady? Second, how did they explain Rosco's absense? In Arrest Jesse Duke, they explained it as being Rosco in a police course in Atlanta.

You all know who I'm talking about. The guy who was trying to get married but the Dukes kept taking him back to Hazzard so he could either stamp that document or place his vote. I just watched that episode the other night.

Hey y'all I was watching Luke's Love Story earlier. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the Hazzard County Derby meant to be every year? Anyway that got me thinking. Amy Creevy leaves the trophy with Luke,saying she will come back next year and win it fair and square. That scene had me practically yelling to the writers in my head (must have been caused by the paint fumes from the Rosco bike) about how they missed out on a really good opportunity to bring back two (in my mind) interesting characters that could have been expanded. I see that the moderators have posted an announcement that Neva Patterson has passed on to Hazzard Heaven. Although she was only in one episode she made a big impact with me because I love that episode so much. I wish she would have appeared on more than "Swamp Molly". This news is extra difficult considering we just lost another resident of Hazzard County, the beautiful Peggy Rea. I take these losses tough since I love the show so much. It's nice to be part of the HazzardNet since I take comfort in knowing other folks here, feel like the actors on the show, are like family and miss them when they pass on. The Queen of country music turns 89 today. She's in poor health but don't believe those internet stories that say she's gone. Loretta is.....and always will be.... my favorite female singer. Her voice is as unique as a voice can get...just like her friend Patsy Cline. When you heard their voices you didn't have to stop and ask who it was. We love you Miss Loretta.

Has anyone ever run into online, or offline a 'background extra' from The Dukes of Hazzard TV Series?.... I mean, If I had played a background extra on even one single episode you can damn sure bet I would be telling people about it all these years later. Of course, some of those ppl were background extras on alot of other shows prolly you can imagine possibly. So maybe it was not really a big big deal to them just another job. But... surely somebody somewhere has to boast about being a background extra on the show from time to time...... ?

I'm sad to report that John (Jack) Gordon who played Honest John Ledbetter in One armed bandits passed away March 30th. He was scheduled to appear at the Dukes Day for Cancer with Coy, Vance and Sherrif Little. Instead a special memorial will be held on the last day. Condoleances to his friends and family.

Hey, I just discovered something. I am reading Ben Jones' book "Redneck Boy in the Promised Land" On pages 33 and 65, Ben mentions a mechanic named Stump Rountree that Ben and his uncle worked for (imagine that, Ben working for a mechanic) Anyway, Stump was also a citizen of Hazzard County even though he was only mentioned by name and never actually appeared on the show. Stump was mentioned in the episode "The Canterbury Crock" from season 3.

It has been reported that Samuel E. Wright has just passed away. He was Enos's police partner in the TV series Enos. Unfortunately, Enos never came out on DVD so only us folks who were lucky enough to see the series when it originally aired know what a great duo Enos and Turk were. I didn't know this but he was also the voice of Sebastian on The Little Mermaid. He was 74 and will be missed.
