I am reading Ben Jones' book "Redneck Boy in the Promised Land"On pages 33 and 65, Ben mentions a mechanic named Stump Rountree that Ben and his uncle worked for (imagine that, Ben working for a mechanic) Anyway, Stump was also a citizen of Hazzard County even though he was only mentioned by name and never actually appeared on the show.Stump was mentioned in the episode "The Canterbury Crock" from season 3.
