Tom Wopat/Luke Duke

For those of you watching the Dukes on CMT. I believe they started what was the seventh and final season of the show last night. From what I remember growing up the show really showed its age during this season (it still had its moments, but they were running out of ideas) One of the things I noticed as a Luke fan that though he was my favorite character growing up, they really didn't change or explore his character that much (or the others either for that matter). He was always the one who came up with the plans etc which was vital, but with the show aging (their use of model cars for the jumps this season were obvious, lol), I think it would have been interesting to sho…

The Tom Wopat webcrew needs your help in getting this out. Here is what they said in an email to me as of 12-4-2013. Hi Kimberly! As you saw in the Facebook group post, I don't have access to Tom's Facebook page. Someone hacked in and removed all the admins, and we are going through a legal process to get it back. It has been annoying, to say the least! I wanted to post something in the Facebook group asking everyone to help spread the word about Tom's new song, but wanted to check with you first to make sure that was appropriate for the group. Or maybe you want to post it instead? I was going to say something like: "Hi everyone! Since we are locked out of Tom's Faceboo…

On one of the DVDs Tom mentions that he has 5 Children, but i thought he wasn't married. Can someone confirm this please?

Do any of y'all remember the concert that him and John did when he got Laryngitis ? it must have been hard on him . John had to do most of the singning I bet I do remember Tom having to leave the wrap party early because his throat was sore. I recall reading that the next day he couldn't say a word he could only blink and smile at the fans and I also remember reading about the next day that when him and John were performing and one of the stage guys gave Tom a bottle of water for his throat and then a few hours later Tom got a tickle in this throat and he sprayed water all over John's jacket and John gave him a funny look.

I posted this under John's section but wanted to cover it here too. Tom and John are in concert together on April 12 & 13 at the Fallsview Casino in Ontario, Canada. The casino website does not yet have tickets on sale. Tom's website, however, confirms the concert. Here's the link to all of Tom's upcoming appearances, as found on his website. I've got the direct link to the casino box office under John's post. I coulda reposted it here, but I like to mix things up. You can get to it from this other link anyway.

This is a great interview- they got together when John was in NYC. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/30/fashion/30nite.html?ref=fashion

I have a cute picture of Tom when he was a little boy ", he has two kittens, Those baby birthday cards that the fan club would send are really cute too.

I'm So tired of all the netive things on here about Tom. Here is something possitive. Oak Room Review from Critic Rex Reed 03/17/09 Swarthy but cool, like a preppie rodeo cowboy with a tuxedo and a Rolex, Tom Wopat is so charismatic and versatile he can lock in a lyric and lasso an audience at the same time. In addition to starring on Broadway and television, releasing two CDs, and branching out to perform pop songs and Broadway show tunes in massive concert halls and intimate cabarets, he now can swing, too. In fact, his newest CD is called Consider It Swung, and his marvelous new show at the Oak Room of the august Algonquin is aptly titled "Love Swings." He proves it a…

i couldn't believe it either and i still kinda don't but check this out. http://www.tmz.com/2008/09/26/tom-wopat-doob-of-hazzard/

Have you guys seen how good Tom looks in the music video he, John and Cathy did for the Season 7 extras? His singing is also great! I keep watching this over and over again. He still looks good!

I have started a Tom wopat Group here if anyone wants to Join.

Their was this interview of Tom's i was listening to last night on facebook it was a fairly nice interview but I felt kinda sorry for Tom. considering he had a cold while doing a radio show and he also sounds very congested , he also had to blow his nose at one point.

Now ya'll! I just saw Hazzard In Hollywood for the FIRST time: ya'll didn't warn me about Tom throwing his shirt off in the first five minutes! Shame on ya'll! THUD!!!!!!

http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=1179819336 He's in there for a brief few seconds, he's at the door trying to get in the room Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn, and Dolly Parton are in, lol

OMG Tom was amazing. He came down and sat at my table and shared a drink with me...will post more tomorrow...wow what a great night!!!!

Take a look at the Sept 12, 2005 issue of Country Weekly and there is little story about Tom around the Birthdays. He is going to be 54 on September 9, 2005 and guess what is also my Uncle Bob's birthday but he will be 64 years old thow.

Hi folks, I posted this on the front page as well but in case none of y'all go that way (and why not?? LOL).... http://www.thecheappop.com/wopat.html

It was so nice to see Tom with John, Cathy, Sonny, Ben, and James last night on stage together. Tom looked 'hot' He was sporting the clean shaven look for his upcoming 'Glengarry Glen Ross' play. I think he looks good clean shaven and unshaven. What do all you ladies think. He had the cutest expression on his face when he was trying to get the audience to 'quiet down'.

hey everyone im a new dukes fan, just wanted to ask a quick question. when Tom appeared in cybill did his character have a dog called duke?.

How many of you watched the two episodes of "Home Improvement" Tom was on? I loved them both and he was so hot!!! I have those episodes saved on my DVR to just watch over and over again.

I just watched all the DVD extras last night including 'Dukevision'. It was so nice to see Tom participate on the extras with his busy New York broadway schedule. Tom looked so handsome sitting next to Catherine and John. It was nice to hear him do a commentary on an episode. Good news - Tom, John, and Catherine are participating on the season four extras too with the feature - 'Building the Legend - The Dukes Story'.

I received my weekly tv guide in the mail last night. It is a special edition that has a lot of comments from past tv guides. There is a quote from Tom Wopat in the 80's section regarding the Dukes of Hazzard. I wish I had it with me so I could type it in here. There were no pictures to go along with the quote to my dissatisfaction. Although it is pretty neat that from the whole decade of the 80's, he was one of the ones chosen. Go Tom!

SMALLVILLE Tom Wopat will reunite with "Dukes of Hazzard" co-star John Schneider, who plays Jonathan Kent on the show, for one episode. Tom plays a childhood friend of Jonathan Kent. This I have to see, I did read somewhere it would be on the 6th episode of the 5th season. Not sure when the new season starts, but it's nice to see two great men reunite in other projects.

Did Y'all Know that Double Dukes was the episode Tom did after he had his Car Accident and i found out on the commentary for Double Dukes that he has a scar on the the right side of his face on his forehead . Did you know also that he had to get alot of stiches to close up the cut he wasn't wearing a seatbelt when he got into the crash he is so Lucky !!!! they had to film only one side of his face which probably was on his left side since all the stichies and everything else was on the other side.
