General Discussion

I've always wondered just how much older Luke is than Bo? It can't be too many years because there are several references to them playing football in school in which one or the other passes the ball to his cousin. Luke fought in the Vietnam war at probably 18 it's just not clear about the age difference between any of them.....is Daisy in the middle? or younger than Bo? Miz Smarteepantz

When I was looking at my pictures of the Dukes I found this one with the doors opened.. lol. Like were the doors actually welded shut in most of the episodes or did they just use the windows and not weld the door shut?? Just wonderin http://www.prnewswire.com/mnr/cmt/21313/images/21313a.jpg

Such as abraham hogg, cooter's family(BB,longstreet, beverly, nancy), vance&coy, the pringles. Etc.

well ya'll dont know bout you but I love to learn about the civil war, and as me being a redneck and a southern belle, The south or Conferderat side of the civil war is my side as well lol. Here's some inspirational quotes by the general himself ya'll. Do your duty in all things. You cannot do more, you should never wish to do less I cannot trust a man to control others who cannot control himself. Whiskey - I like it, I always did, and that is the reason I never use it. My chief concern is to try to be an humble, earnest Christian. Obedience to lawful authority is the foundation of manly character. It is well that war is so terrible -- lest we should grow too fond of it…

Hey folks, dunno if anyone knows where to find out how tall each of the cast members are? I read somewhere (forget the site) that James Best is 6', Cathy Bach is 5'8", and John Schneider and Sonny Shroyer are both over 6'. However, the site did not say how tall Sorrell Booke was. I was just curious if anyone here knows for sure? Catcha later. 8)

i know they've influenced me alot! not only the driving part but whenever my mom now asks me to do something i actually do it!!!! and i dont get mad and start running my mouth any more lol. and i say,"Yes ma'am," And i've actually got better manners too, lol. I just want to say thanks John and Tom and Denver who are slowly but surely changing me. John and Tom have been my hero since i was 5 years old so thanks guys. I look up to Uncle Jesse because he reminds soo much of my grandpa, but my grandpa looks like Rosco lol. he talks to his dog too like Rosco, ill never understand him sometimes lol.

(We kinda guessed on the prices as we know very little about cars) General Lee jumping creek New set of shock absorbers: $200 General Lee doing a 180 turn Extra spare tire: $50 Flash looking out the side window Dog buscuits: $3 Seeing Boss Hogg ride a motorcycle: Priceless There are some things money can't buy...for everything else, there's MasterCard. Now accepted in Hazzard County.

Tom and John's friendship reminds me of that movie "Beaches" for those of you that have never seen it it's about two best friends who are real close. they remain best friends through thick and thin and then one of them dies. They have this saying on the case it says " some friends come and go but their is always one your stuck with for life and that is so true don't you think.

What Episode was Dewey Hogg in the triva quiz is the first time I heard of him.

I know rosco and enos never really got in any shoot-outs or nothing, but I always worried about them not wearing any bullet proof vests. I mean, something COULD have happened involving someone with a gun and they could have got shot or even accidentally shot themselves. I'm friends with lots of cops, and even though vests are uncomfortable, they wear them "just in case".........anybody else ever think about that?

I have a friend who is Catherine Bach(Daisy Duke) Tribute Artist. She goes by Daisy Duke II. Y'all can find her on Facebook.

Okay, something we've been wondering. Why are there no pictures of Enos and Daisy together??? Is it for the same reason they never let them get married? Is there at least some pictures out there of the two of them?

hi guys, I wonder which you like dukes's county food that Daisy or Jesse cooking or Boss's gressy foods? which you like.. I like Dukes's foods about you? guys? thanks.

Hey ya'll who was the guy who played the radio announcer on the radio station in Hazzard WHOGG . I have been looking and have never seen anything on him.

I found this vid on YouTube. It's 'bout DOH behind the scenes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XADbrFpvWp8 It's so interesting to see actors (and not characters) during filming. James Best is.... James Best and soon after.... Rosco P. Coltrane with his grin. :D Funny.... and scaring at the same time. And Sonny.... well.... I don't know when he's Sonny and when he's Enos (they seem both shy, and anyway the laugh is the same). Do you know any anecdote 'bout "DOH behind the scenes"? In the forum there are random posts 'bout it, and I'd like to collect everything here.

How many special guets have their been so far? only ones i know, but not sure if these are just actors characters names: Cale Yarborough Loretta Lyn I know their have been others, but i will have to check over my DVD's and see who the others are

I just got done watching "Happy Birthday General Lee" and noticed that the actor who sold the boys the black Charger (and wrongly called it a 1968) was named Will Hare. He was born in 1919 in Elkins West Virginia and starting acting at 15 years old. He died 20 years ago (8-31-97) of a heart attack while rehearsing. I was amazed at all the acting jobs he had in his long career. I suppose the same could be said about many of the senior citizens who were on the show.

Has CMT skipped some episodes like 'a baby for the dukes' and 'happy birthday general lee' or did I just miss them? Miz Smarteepantz

I would like everyone that is either a Dukes fan or Tom Wopat fan to please post something like on the Tom Wopat page here on fb so we can keep up with him and what is going on thank you....... Here is the link if you don't already know to his FB page https://www.facebook.com/tomwopat?fref=ts I would like to voice my opinion about some things i have noticed aren't working right on Tom information. Updates on his FB page aren't getting done and concert dates are missing and am wondering why? This is the only way i can find out if he is coming to an area near me so i can get tickets and to at the very least keep up with the man in this fashion. I have seen or rather not see…

Poor Luke he got a Big Black eye in the first Reunion Movie but they tried to hide the black eye with make-up and by making Tom stand sideways unfortunetly one of the fights must have gone wrong and i thought noticed him having a Black eye in the last half of it.

have ya'll ever seen Bo and Luke put gas in the general lee or to be exact any car on the show? i know there was one time uncle jesse was suppose to be gasing up one van but it was really moonshine so it wasn't really gasing up the car. i was wondering if i was the only one that noticed this?

share Ok 1 Sonny real name is Otis 2 Rick Hurst son is a actor his name is Ryan Hurst 3 James Best is the father-in-law of actor Michael Damian best know for The young and the Restless as 'Danny Romalotti" and he is also cousin to the Everly Brothers you know the song Bye bye love Bye bye happness

I've always wondered whut Uncle Jessie grew on his farm...I never knew...does somebody know the answer? If ya do, please answer meh post! XoXo - thanks =D

I wanted to know if I missed something. In all but a very few episodes of our treasured Dukes, sweet Daisy always wore nylon hose. Okay they did not have to do much to enhance her legs since they were as near perfect as any set of stage legs I have ever seen. However I have noticed that women today both on TV or in the movies few wear nylon stockings or hose on their legs. Can anyone tell me why? This is a serious Hazzard County research project,
