Great shows! And, great thread idea.

Redneck girl listed some of the ones that I like, and more! So, if you are wondering what I like, I like the old tv shows, except I haven't seen some of the shows Redneck listed. But, Redneck girl is my kind of friend, watching all the classics (Little House, MacGyver, The Waltons, etc.) as well as the classic actors (John Wayne).

Oh I forgot Perry Mason, and some of the Discovery Channel shows one that pops into my head is the one: How it's Made, Worlds Deadliest Catch, and then uhh ohh the name has escaped me but the one that has the guy named Bear(sp) However you spell it, the one thats eat raw fish, and snakes to survive, and so on. And America's Funniest Home Video's.

Wow! There are a lot of great TV shows here! Okay, here's some of my favorite, and I'm sure I'll forget some! But first, to answer a question, yes, i1976, I've heard of Welcome Back, Kotter; I've really only seen the first season, and I like it! Anyways, here's my list!

every time I think of 'Welcome Back Kotter" I think of two things

1. The guy that played Kotter has NOT aged well and is now a professional poker player

2. Barbarino. That whole skit with the twist of the beach boys song.

I myself love the Hogan's Heroes series.

REALLY?? He's a professional poker player?! I would never have guessed that! Oh, that song that Vinnie sings was in my head all day today! So, it was funny you mentioned that. Who's your favorite character on "Welcome Back, Kotter"? Anyways, great to see all the wonderful TV shows.

Who was the little skinny guy that was on the show. He had kind of a whiny voice. I always liked watching him, he was a good bit of comic relief for that show.

I do have to say that my favorite is Hogan's Heroes. That was one of the best shows ever produced. People think it's a bit weird that I like that show since it was on before I was born but my parents introduced us to older music, movies, etc. I think that's why I was so in love with John Wayne and Robert Mitchum.

I'm kinda the same way. I always loved The Monkees, even though it was on in the 60's, because we saw the reruns in the 80's and 90's. Used to have a crush on Davy Jones, even though he's as old as my dad!

How i love the dukes, and while it rates as one of my favorite of all time, i do watch other shows! Here are some of my new and old faves

I've only ever really liked 5 TV shows in my whole life and only the Dukes of Hazzard has stood the test of time.

The other 4 were Charlie's Angels, Dallas, A-Team and Stingray.

I guess I'm frozen in the 70s and 80s but that's the way I like it. The only thing I like about modern TV is the DVD player hooked up to it that my Dukes discs go in.

I'm the same way with music. I'll take Waylon, Charlie Daniels and Hank Jr over Rascal Flatts, Montgomery Gentry and Keith Urban any day.
