Kinda sad Roger, I enjoyed reading these and now it's over. Like I said in a previous post you and HossC ought to get together and right a book.

Nascar has made some 2021 scheduling changes already due to California banning motorsports for a short period due to Covid-19 https://www.jayski.com/2020/12/08/nascar-expected-to-replace-auto-club-race-with-daytona-road-course/ Santino Ferrucci is reportedly close to a deal to do 20 Xfinity races for Our Motorsports in 2021.

It's unfortunate that they didn't know at the time that the show was going to be cancelled. Maybe if they did they would have changed the ending and had Daisy and Enos marry and gave the show a proper ending in the final episode.

As clean as it is I'm sure it stays in their garage when snow is forecasted. She was telling me they were waiting for some interior parts from Brazil, apparently Chevette's have a big following down there.

I watch Young and the Restless if I happen to be home for lunch, I'm assuming for nostalgia because growing up I remember at lunch time my grandma would turn that on. It was interesting in the early summer they aired old episodes I remembered seeing with my grandma. It's weird how some things get ingrained into your brain.

no. Oldest car I seen there was from the late 80's this time. Did see a few square headlight Wranglers there though. On the subject of old cars... had to take our cat the the veterinary the other day to get a shot for her sinus infection and seen a 1976 Chevette there. Turns out it's owned by one if the vet techs, they plan on hot rodding it next year. I told her she should drop in a power train from a Pontiac Solstice or Saturn Sky, those turbo 4's can handle over 300hp on the stock internals.

Went junkyarding today to get a rim for the wife's car. Apparently one of the potholes around here bent one of her rims bad enough that it has a wobble in it. I figured I'd save a bit of money by going to one of the two local pick your part junkyards. But here's the catch that I didn't know about, you have to remove the tire yourself and bring your own tire irons as well or pay for the tire no matter even if the tire is bald. The local pick your part junkyards price the rims about $15-20 less than the regular junkyards but once you add the price of the tire I ended up paying $10 more than if I would have just called one of the regular junkyards Monday. So keep that in mind if you visit your local pick a part junkyard. Other than paying for a tire we'll never use it was a fun visit to the junkyard and seeing what was there. Seen a few really nice cars there that would have made a nice project for someone and probably could have made some money on since the body's were rust free.

Just when you think they'd take a left turn back to Hazzard they take a crazy right to the Philippines .

Same here too Roger. I say let the senior citizens and high risk individuals get the vaccines first, after first responders, nurses doctors and nursing home residents, no matter if they're rich or poor. Problem is going to be the anti-vaxxers, the people who still think this disease is fake and the aluminum foil hat wearers that think the vaccine is going to have a gps tracker won't get the vaccine so we're probably going to have to wear masks for at least another year.

Yep social distancing, masks(off camera) and quarantining as well depending on the studio company, some are more stricter than others. Soap Operas are using real life spouses or one show went as far as having a mannequin made of one of their stars for a romantic scene which turned into a funny meme . If you didn't know already AC/DC dropped a new album a few weeks ago...https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gLA70huskTk

If you're a fan of 50's, 60's and 70's tv shows Airy.tv has added a bunch more to their streaming apps. Mr.Ed, Bewitched, The Jeffersons, Gunsmoke, Mission Impossible, Columbia, The Fugitive, Rockford Files, Green Acres, Hogan's Heroes, Mchale's Navy, The Three Stooges and Tom & Jerry cartoons are just the latest to get their own 24 hour streaming channels on the app. They also have 50's tv, 60's tv and 70's tv channels that show tv shows that don't have their own 24/7 channels and rare single season shows.

That's a big score for Haas. Will be interesting to see what George can do in a race winning car although he probably feels a lot of pressure to do well.

Heard on the news this morning that some places around cleveland got almost two feet of snow. So apparently now it's 'white privilege' to not want to hear music blaring in the middle of the night according to an article I read last night that's trying to turn a tragedy into a race thing. Seems to me that everyone that works for a living no matter what race you are doesn't want to be woken up and kept up by loud music. So sick of everything being turned into a race thing or being "offensive". /End rant.

Well lucas county is going to purple level? whatever that means. So the schools are going back to online classes, library's are closed, restaurants and bars closed to indoor dining, outside dining still allowed if you don't mind freezing your butt off. Even the parks are limiting people again, one I went too yesterday blocked some of the parking lots off. Looks like it's going to be a long month.

Uuhhhhh...digging under the seat of the General.... Looks like some of Uncle Jessie's finest but I wouldn't drink it all in one sitting. Only about two inches of snow stuck to the grass and cars here. Gonna try and get to the park and take some pics as it will all melt tomorrow when the temps get back up to the 40s. Scored a black and decker 20v drill yesterday at the local Ace hardware on sale for $25. Now that I have two drills it will be nice to not have to switch out bits doing projects.
