Got another 4.5 inches of snow Thursday night into Friday morning bringing the total in 6 days to 11 inches. Expecting another 2-4 tonight then possibly few more inches Tuesday morning, then right now the forecasters are calling next Saturday "one to watch" which means it could dump several inches of snow or just one inch. My back is screaming from all the shoveling I've been doing.

Denny Hamlin signs multi year contract extension with JGR https://nascar.nbcsports.com/2021/02/01/denny-hamlin-fedex-sign-contract-extensions-with-joe-gibbs-racing/ Some sad news...Mark Beard, owner of Beard Motorsports passed away https://nascar.nbcsports.com/2021/02/01/beard-motorsports-team-owner-passes-away/ the team still plans to run the #62 at Daytona 500 in his honor.

Doubled the snowfall this season with the storm over the weekend. Got 6.5 inches since Saturday night, most of it fell that night. Wish we would have gotten this around Christmas. The new tires on my car worked great in the snow, had no issues getting around Sunday.

My cat would have sat on the buildings . She's always "helping" me if I'm working on a project in the house. I look forward to seeing the completed Hazzard.

Impeding (traffic) My dad usually drives 5+ mph under the speed limit these days. Think he needs new glasses but refuses to admit it.

I don't have an issue sharing the vaccine with other countries... But let's get the majority of our population vaccinated first before we hand it out to the rest of the world. IMO China should be vaccinating, or at least funding it, the rest of the world since this disease is their up

Paris I can understand. France imo was only strong when that little nut Napolean was in control. This is quite an interesting read https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vikings Its kind of sad that history in school is more an after thought these days. Even when I was in school the only thing I remember learning about the vikings is they raided and plundered and that they discovered North America before Christopher Columbus did. We mostly got freezing rain overnight, great. I'm beginning to think this winter will be like one we had about 6 or 7 years ago where we had little snowfall till late March early April when we had two big snow falls within a few weeks.

I'm just glad the Packers lost. Makes me happy knowing one certain sob is miserable about them losing. Can't believe the call to go for a field goal instead of a touchdown though, wtf was that coach thinking.

Our microwave bit the dust yesterday so for the first time in our combined lives we actually bought a brand new microwave today. Did a bunch of online and In person research and ended up going back and buying it at the 2nd of 6 stores we visited today. Its a GE 1.6 cu.ft which is also another first as all our previous lightly used microwaves were Sharp Carousel brand. Would have bought another Sharp but the GE one was on sale $20 cheaper. Hope we get a few inches of snow tomorrow Instead of the freezing rain. Local forecasters still not calling which we'll get.

I had no idea Goodwill had an Ebay-like auction site shopgoodwill.com. And yes they have Dukes of Hazzard collectibles that people donated. Right now they have a rare playstation DoH game up for auction and Roscoe's patrol car, though that's part of a rare model kit set that is already up to $115. The one thing you got to check though is the shipping cost, if it's at a goodwill far away from you the charge is steep but if it's at a local one you can setup a pickup option. Its interesting to see some of the valuable collectible stuff people have donated to goodwill.

Wow cancel culture hit looney tunes hard, there's not one single Speedy Gonzales cartoon on HBOMax, and only a couple of WW2 cartoons that WB made during the war. Glad I got a 2 week free trial period, I sure as hell am not paying $15 a month for this. I didn't even come across a classic Pepe Le Pew cartoon. How the heck is Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies more offensive than South Park which is also on HBOMax!?!
