Too bad the Browns lost, on the bright side they made it further in the post season than ever before. Now I'm rooting for the Bucs to go all the way. We were supposed to get the 'polar vortex' over the weekend but that didn't happen. What a weird winter this is. Local meteorologists are saying we could set a record for lowest snowfall if the pattern keeps up. We're at just 6 inches total since October, in a normal season we're halfway to 3 feet by now. Maumee river and Lake Erie still hasn't frozen over. On the drought monitor were in the dry zone for now but if things don't pick up we could be worse off come spring.

Flu

Some people just have the need to be famous and want to go 'viral' no matter what behavior it's for. After we got the Ring doorbell camera the troublemaker we were dealing with next door seemed to relish in being recorded by it. 9 out of 10 times when he'd come outside he'd make it a point to get within the sensor range to set it off and do the goofiest crap. Even other neighbors noticed it and asked us if it caught him doing this or that. I don't know, maybe he expected us to post the videos online so he could be famous.

I read that last night and laughed. Told the wife it's a good thing I didn't stream my races because I sweared like a sailor . If I was a publicist for these up and coming drivers I'd give them one piece of advice...While online or in public act like you would in church because everyone has a camera in their pockets or are recording everything online you do to scrutinize it.

Just found out we had another house bought out from under us. At least this time we got info though. Turns out a real estate company is on a buying spree outbidding prospective home buyers in the area with cash offers and then turning them into rental properties. Nice to know we're not alone in being frustrated and getting screwed out of buying a home. At least we know what we're up against now for what good that does.

I'm rooting for the Browns to go all the way to the Superbowl. Got a new set of tires over the weekend, hopefully they live up to all the great reviews they got from various sources. Will find out later this week how they will handle rain and snow. Also stopped by one of the Family Video's that's closing and scored a few movies to fill holes in some of my collection. I now have the complete Star Wars movie series on Blu-ray from The Phantom Menace to The Rise of Skywalker. Wife added a few Disney movies to her collection. Gonna be sad to see them all close as there won't be anywhere to rent movies or tv series except Redboxes.

In a few weeks here in Ohio people 65 and older and people of any age that have debilitating diseases can set up an appt to get one if the covid-19 vaccines. Would be nice if things go smoothly that everyone can get the vaccine by late spring early summer.

They already do that. I watched either a Looney tunes or disney dvd and before every cartoon was a stupid 'this was a different time' message or a 'don't try this at home' message. Worst part of it was you couldn't skip past it.

Three YeeHaas for HossC

Went junkyarding today. Was looking to get some aluminum rims for my car but those were all gone so I got the last set of steelies for $50. Sucks they had cheap walmart tires on them otherwise I might've just thrown them on the car today but I'll be getting some new tires next weekend. The wife always comes to the junkyard with me and without fail there were a few guys shocked that a woman was there getting parts off a car . With the money I saved due to the sale at the JY and a gift card I got for Xmas I stopped at Menards and got myself a new toy, Drill and Impact driver kit. Heard a bunch of those impact drivers at the JY while I was busting the lugnuts loose by hand and told myself I'm getting one.

Happy New Year guys. As usual I slept through all the excitement , wife got woken up from all the noise at midnight around here though.
