Yeah it's crazy how much those cost these days. I read for some vehicles it's over $3,000. Yesterday afternoon I noticed a car driving down the road that just had the converter cut off. They've been hitting apartment complexes here getting a few of them then fleeing before the police get there. Yeah. She blessed and thanked me and said her son will finish removing the slush boulders from the front of the driveway and sent me off. As I was leaving I looked in the mirror and just seen him stand there watching her slowly push them. I would've gone back but didn't want to wear out my welcome.

Cup qualifying has been rescheduled to 7:30pm est tonight on FS1. Looks like there's a pretty good chance that the 500 will rain delayed as they're expecting rain Saturday and Sunday.

On my way home last night I noticed a senior lady shoveling a path to her mail box so I turned around and stopped to help her. Her son came out to "help" after he seen me. She was 88 years old. Her son said he's got a herniated disc blah blah blah. I thought to myself herniated disc or not there's no way I'd let my octogenarian mother or father shovel snow. For Christ sake the city has a number you can call and a volunteer will come out and shovel your walk or to your mailbox for free. Keep an eye on your catalytic converters they are the hot ticket item for thieves these days. They're even striking in the middle of the day where people work. Japanese cars seem to be targeted the most.

Well let's hope they use the oval next year as that was a yawner of a race except on the last lap where Chase Elliot tried a bump n run on Ryan Blaney and Kyle Busch passed them both for the win. I found it hilarious that they called a caution for dirt on the track though they might have called it because Denny Hamlin was driving away from the rest of them. He had the best car but pit stops kept putting him back in the field.

The 2021 season starts tonight with the Busch Clash on the road course at Daytona at 7pm eastern on FS1. The Daytona 500 qualifying is on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30pm on Fox and the Duels are Thursday at 7pm on FS1. As of now 44 cars are on the entry list.

Comic shop sale was a bust, didn't have a single comic I needed to fill my collections. Only thing I got was a paper cut. Wife showed me this story about a lady who put gorilla glue in her hair who is now thinking about suing Gorilla glue company because it doesn't specifically say not to on the bottle. I guess the $10k she's gotten so far on gofundme isn't enough, must be great to get paid thousands of dollars for your own stupidity. Sad part is she's a teacher

Can't believe I was only 4 points off on the Buccaneers and 8 off the Chiefs. I bet the comic shop owner is sorry he bet against Tom Brady , though he posted on the shops FB page that customers will have to buy at least 15 books or other merchandise to get the discount now.

Woohoo just got a dusting of snow overnight, looking forward to relaxing all day. Rooting for the Bucs to win, local comic shop is betting the Chiefs will win so if they lose its 50% off everything in the store. Would be nice to complete my star trek comic collection.

Got another 4.5 inches of snow Thursday night into Friday morning bringing the total in 6 days to 11 inches. Expecting another 2-4 tonight then possibly few more inches Tuesday morning, then right now the forecasters are calling next Saturday "one to watch" which means it could dump several inches of snow or just one inch. My back is screaming from all the shoveling I've been doing.

Doubled the snowfall this season with the storm over the weekend. Got 6.5 inches since Saturday night, most of it fell that night. Wish we would have gotten this around Christmas. The new tires on my car worked great in the snow, had no issues getting around Sunday.

My cat would have sat on the buildings . She's always "helping" me if I'm working on a project in the house. I look forward to seeing the completed Hazzard.

Impeding (traffic) My dad usually drives 5+ mph under the speed limit these days. Think he needs new glasses but refuses to admit it.
