  1. Tell me you've never had a few beers and found yourself singing along to Neil Diamond and I'll take your derision like a man . This song was released in 1992, but the album was recorded in mono. It could almost be a lost early Rolling Stones session.
  2. Welcome to HazzardNet :).

  3. Sweet Caroline - Neil Diamond Good times never seemed so good .
  4. Despite the title, I'm gonna take things late '80s rock:
  5. I think BL's right again, so I'll agree. I would've said 4 if you'd asked last week, because I had forgotten he was in 'Arrest Jesse Duke' until I saw it again a few days ago.
  6. I'll take it back to the early '60s with this one: Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen - Neil Sedaka
  7. I used a similar method to BL. I remember Daisy definitely being in two of the episodes, so I was down to 50:50. 'To Catch a Duke' was one of the ones I had left and BL's usually right, so I'll agree.

    Signs of Hazzard

I've done the 'Hoggoco' logo - the only place I've used it so far is my Dukes NASCAR. I'll have to do a larger version for this thread. As for JD's other products, I'll look into doing some of them.
  9. We may have stopped 'talking', but I've got loads more 'sweet' songs if we carry that theme on .

    Signs of Hazzard

These signs are from the hijacked trucks in 'Road Pirates'. The globe on the 'Southern Express Co.' sign is deliberately not symmetrical because that's how it appeared in the show.
  11. I wasn't sure of the last one until BL answered it. This one I am pretty sure of - I'm going for d) Sam and Tinker.

    One Word Song Titles

Thought I'd continue the 'Rise' theme. This is a moody instrumental track that I have on a CD of music used for commercials, although I can't remember what commercial it was used for. MaryAnne, thanks for reminding me of Herb Alpert - I'll have dig my album out.
  13. The talkin' ain't over yet Sweet Talking Candyman - The Carrie Nations From the 1970 Russ Meyer Movie 'Beyond the Valley of the Dolls'.

    One Word Song Titles

Public Image Ltd (PiL) were formed by Sex Pistols' vocalist John Lydon (aka Johnny Rotten). He now earns his money selling butter.
  16. You can also try the more well known version by , or a '90s cover by . Sadly, I can't find Leonard Nimoy's cover online - if you want to check it out, it's on an album called Spaced Out.
  17. HERS If we're on an intials theme.
  18. Continuing the '80s theme ...
  19. Season 2 starts with 'Days of Shine and Roses' and a vintage moonshining movie. It's not easy to see what Sheriff 'Spike' Loomis drives, but I'm going to plump for a 1947/48 Ford Super Deluxe (the '46 didn't have the parking lights under the headlights). The modern-day Hatchapee patrol cars are more standard 1977/78 Dodge Monacos. Sheriff Loomis's car is the one with the moonshine jugs stencilled onto the front fender!. Hazzard County gets its own 1977/78 Dodge Monacos in season 2. Although they first appeared in 'Days of Shine and Roses' I couldn't get a great picture, so this one is from 'Gold Fever'. We get a look at a Sweetwater County patrol car in 'The Ghost of General Lee', and it's another 1975/76 Dodge Coronet. This is pretty much what the Choctaw car (above) looks like with a few minor changes; the lightbar has blue lights on both sides, there are spotlights on the A-pillars, and under the Hazzard-like door badge it just says 'Sheriff'.
  20. Welcome to HNet Steve. It sounds like you've got a great collectors' item there. I don't think I'd part with it either .
  21. Welcome to HazzardNet :).

  22. WWF The WWF (World Wildlife Fund) may beaten what is now WWE for use of the initials, but this picture nicely confuses the two:
  23. It was a paper coffee cup - I think all counties have their anti-social idiots who can't do simple things like find a bin (it was cold yesterday, and had just started raining, but that's no excuse). Luckily, this sort of behavior isn't too common here - in fact, the place where I live has just won an award in the Tidy Towns competition for the second year in a row .
  24. I was planning on going to an American car show today (this one where I sat in a General Lee last year), but various factors conspired against it. Luckily there was another car related event much closer to home: Cannonball Ireland 2011 came to town. Unlike the namesake movies from the '80s, this was not a race, but just a charity fund-raising cruise of some very expensive cars including Ferraris, Porsches, Lamborghinis and Aston Martins amongst others: There were a few American cars there too: They all parked up in the grounds of the castle. There must have been several million dollars' worth of cars on show.
