  1. Is this what you were after? I'd ask Roth the best way to get the IMG code in Flickr (I use Photobucket).

To mark the funeral of Nelson Mandela, here's a song written in 1975 to publicize the resistance movement in South Africa. I know this is a non-political forum, but I hope no one here was in favor of apartheid, so it shouldn't be controversial. Johannesburg - Gil Scott-Heron
  3. Due to circumstances beyond our control, only myself and Roth made it all the way through 'Double Dukes' last night. Mufn suggested watching 'The Great Santa Claus Chase' nearer to Christmas, so watch this space for times. Now that the chat room's back, we also need to organize a Christmas party at the Boar's Nest .
  4. I think that Jeep is a Grand Cherokee, which only came out in 1993, so maybe this is from one of the TV movies. The guy on the left in the red shirt might be Tom Sarmento, but I'm not sure from this angle. The Charger appears to be a 1968 model going by the side marker hole on the front wing.
  5. The car is a late '70s/early '80s Chevy Malibu (it's difficult to tell the year with the grille missing and the other damage). I can't think which episode it's from, but I'll let you know if I remember.

David Armand has performed his mime style interpretive dance on the BBC series 'Fast and Loose' in the UK, and the ABC series 'Trust Us With Your Life' in the US. On this occasion he gets a little help . Torn - Natalie Imbruglia http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8AggJ3_Xf0
  7. Thanks for the update, Roth. That new lightbar does look good. I don't have a patrol car because the inaccuracies always bug me. Maybe this'll be the one!
  8. I was trying to decide which version of this song to post when I noticed that the uploader of this video was called 'GeneralLee1956'. Come Back and Stay - Paul Young

Time for some rock... Thunderstruck - AC/DC Y'all might think that spelling AC/DC isn't that hard, but it was for this guy on an Australian radio show!
  10. That's Bill Erwin who played Clarence Stovall in 'The Great Bank Robbery' (S04E06).

Welcome to the thread, GeneralLeeJumpFan . Mystify - INXS
  12. 'High Octane' was the only episode that featured a 1973 Plymouth Fury I. It's in the second post of the Patrol Cars In Pictures thread.
  13. The Wikipedia page says in was Mike Campbell. It also says that although Ringo appeared in the video, the drums were actually played by Phil Jones.
  14. I'm sorry to hear about your dad. I hope he gets out of hospital soon.
  15. It was soon after AMC started supplying Jeeps for Daisy, so my guess is some sort of publicity/sponsorship tie-in. The wheels look similar to Dixie. US motorsports races often have a grand marshal, so they're just borrowing the term for this race. From Wikipedia: "Grand marshal: A person selected at an automobile race (eg NASCAR, IndyCar) by the track owner or race sponsor to be the public leader of events on race day or throughout the race weekend. They may have ceremonial duties such as giving the command to start engines, driving the pace car, waving the green flag to start the race, or presenting the trophy to the race winner." Sadly, the props department rarely spelled "marshal" correctly on cars and uniforms etc. - most occurrences show it spelled like this with two 'l's instead of one.
  16. Thank you for all your good wishes .
  17. Look out for some famous faces in this video. There's Jeff Lynne from ELO who co-wrote the song, and George Harrison and Ringo Starr from a little-know band called The Beatles . I Won't Back Down - Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers If you'd prefer a more acoustic version, try .
  18. Seeing as it's Sunday morning, I thought I'd play this... Hello Sunday! Hello Road! - Gil Scott-Heron/Brian Jackson
  19. HNet allows for up to 100 messages to be stored. This is a combined total of sent and received messages. If you want to keep your old messages, you'll have to save them to your computer. To do this, simply go to your private messages, put a check/tick next to each message you want to save, and then scroll down to the "Selected Messages" button: You can download your messages as XML (a web mark-up language), CSV (Comma Seperated Values), or TEXT (a plain text file). Once you've safely downloaded them, select the "Delete" option to remove the saved messages. The red/yellow/green bar at the bottom of the messages page allows you to keep an eye on the number of messages you have.
  20. I look forward to seeing your 3D models of Hazzard .
  21. I think AutoCad could produce two- and three-dimensional vector art, but it's overkill for this sort of stuff. There's some free 3D modeling software called Blender that you could try - the download site is here. It looks like you missed their conference in Amsterdam last month . It would love to convert some of my drawings to 3D, but it's a steep learning curve.
  22. I think that's 'The Law and Jesse Duke' (S04E26).
  23. The Dukes have a green tractor in 'New Deputy in Town', but it's not the same one as the recent picture. Luke does circles in the yard with the tractor at the end of the episode. I think this one's a Ford? We need Roger to take a look .
  24. A verb is a doing word (or werkwoord in Dutch). Festooning is like decorating or adorning, usually with garlands of flowers or something similar. Until I know what Enos was doing, I can't give you a better verb . I remember the Dukes having a tractor, but I'll have to check which episode(s) it was in to see if it's the one in the picture.
  25. 1964. BTW. Jimi spelled his last name "Hendrix" - he wasn't running a NASCAR team .
