At least the Dukes ended on a strong episode. It had everybody together and enjoying themselves at the end. Even though it wasn't a "series finale" episode , I think they done themselves proud for that last show...

Not really that exciting of a race to me...Jr had a terrible day with tire problems, Tony was average, Jeff ran good then a few of the Hendrick motors had something wrong them, JJ (not enough time) ... I've got a few to add... 1. When you are doing something and get excited and yell "YEEEEHAAAAAAAA" in your best Bo Duke rebel yell.... 2. When you paint the #01 on your orange forklift at work. Yes I do have orange forklifts at my terminal. 3. When my 2 year old son hears the song "Good Ol' Boys" by Waylon Jennings or sees the General Lee and he does his best Bo Duke " YEEEEEEHAAAAA".....And then the wife gets mad at for teaching him that...But it's the Dukes Of Hazzard I tell her.

Sundrop and Cheerwine, now I am drooling big time.......I always bring home cases and cases of those when I go visit my family in NC....

That is the thing here on LI , not all these brands of Root Beer or Soda are available. We have IBC at certain stores like WalMart, they also carry the IBC Cherry Lime soda that is awesome....But we don't have A & W or Dad's at most stores...Just Barq's and Mug and store brand. We also have Sioux City Saspirilla at some stores , which I love....

Mug or Dad's ......or maybe A & W..... good girl....

Oh Labatt's .......I was drinking that when I was in Michigan last year....Good beer....Love those Canadian beers too. I love Molson Ice, the only ice I like.

Yeah - The Highwaymen were one of countrys first supergroups. It would be kind of fitting to have Kris Kristofferson be the balladeer. Since the others are/were involved in the Dukes somehow. 1. Willie Nelson - Uncle Jesse in the new movie 2. Waylon Jennings - The original balladeer for the series 3. Johnny Cash - A song on the DOH soundtrack/story CD - "General Lee" 4. Kris Krsitofferson - ?????????? I think Kris would make a good balladeer after all....

Not to get off the topic, but I have a Car Craft or Hot rod magazine , not sure which one, from 96 or 97 that has a 57 Chevy Belair that was built on a 90 Corvette ZR-1 chassis. The guy got a junked Vette' ZR-1 and ended up retrofitting the 57 Chevy body on it with some modifications like the nose flips up instead of the hood and such. Awesome looking car painted in a blueish purple. Chet , I see what what you mean about putting a newer car on a classic. I thought it was a very cool car and I am sure there are others in the country who do stuff like that.. Again I apologize for getting off topic.. Darrell

Isn't this one of the best "fun" movies? I didn't think that any of ya'll liked this movie that much....I'm glad I started this one now. As far as John Schneider , I thought it was in the scene that MaryAnne posted the pics from. Maybe his scene was cut?

When it comes to pick-ups I am strictly a Ford man. Just something about those Ford trucks . Although I do like the new Dodge Rams. Given a choice , I will still get a Ford.

I like the way the field sits up like that, sort of on top looking down....It still is a pretty view.
