  1. Sundrop and Cheerwine, now I am drooling big time.......I always bring home cases and cases of those when I go visit my family in NC....
  2. That is the thing here on LI , not all these brands of Root Beer or Soda are available. We have IBC at certain stores like WalMart, they also carry the IBC Cherry Lime soda that is awesome....But we don't have A & W or Dad's at most stores...Just Barq's and Mug and store brand. We also have Sioux City Saspirilla at some stores , which I love....
  3. Mug or Dad's ......or maybe A & W..... good girl....
  4. Oh Labatt's .......I was drinking that when I was in Michigan last year....Good beer....Love those Canadian beers too. I love Molson Ice, the only ice I like.
  5. That was a cool looking van back in the day..... The #1 car on TV land's countdown was the Batmobile, unfortunately .... The General Lee should and will always be #1
  6. I am not sure about braindead, but it sure makes you go up a pant size or 2 or 3 or 4...... Hey what kind of BEER does every one drink anyways????? here are my top 3 1. Killian's Irish Red 2. Rolling Rock 3. Coors - original
  7. Qualifying - Just the notables for us fans... 1. Kyle Busch 2. Brian Vickers 8. Jimmie Johnson 28. Jeff Gordon 29. Tony Stewart - starting at the rear(changed transmission) 31. Kevin Harvick 40. Dale Earnhardt Jr. Not that good for us fans of these drivers. But let's see how the race goes today...
  8. Yeah - The Highwaymen were one of countrys first supergroups. It would be kind of fitting to have Kris Kristofferson be the balladeer. Since the others are/were involved in the Dukes somehow. 1. Willie Nelson - Uncle Jesse in the new movie 2. Waylon Jennings - The original balladeer for the series 3. Johnny Cash - A song on the DOH soundtrack/story CD - "General Lee" 4. Kris Krsitofferson - ?????????? I think Kris would make a good balladeer after all....
  9. Gimp........Where've you been???? ........ I like the pics. Nice to see stuff like that..... Now we just need pics of all your cars( Daisy's Jeep, Roscoe's patrol cars, etc ) together...
  10. Not to get off the topic, but I have a Car Craft or Hot rod magazine , not sure which one, from 96 or 97 that has a 57 Chevy Belair that was built on a 90 Corvette ZR-1 chassis. The guy got a junked Vette' ZR-1 and ended up retrofitting the 57 Chevy body on it with some modifications like the nose flips up instead of the hood and such. Awesome looking car painted in a blueish purple. Chet , I see what what you mean about putting a newer car on a classic. I thought it was a very cool car and I am sure there are others in the country who do stuff like that.. Again I apologize for getting off topic.. Darrell
  11. Isn't this one of the best "fun" movies? I didn't think that any of ya'll liked this movie that much....I'm glad I started this one now. As far as John Schneider , I thought it was in the scene that MaryAnne posted the pics from. Maybe his scene was cut?
  12. AHH What a life....... I am sure you look good in those Daisy dukes, as long as no rolls hang over the shorts .....
  13. Simply awesome.......Thank you very much for sharing the pics and telling us about it. And the very best part was that it was for charity and the boy..Can't get any better than that... Darrell
  14. Daney.....thanks for putting me on the spot like that, just becasue I thought of the 6 degrees doesn't mean I can think of how to start...... I will start with an easy one. ..... Barbara Eden
  15. When it comes to pick-ups I am strictly a Ford man. Just something about those Ford trucks . Although I do like the new Dodge Rams. Given a choice , I will still get a Ford.
  16. I needed something to make me laugh..... Seriously though, I like Dale Jr, but his father was the BEST. Jr. will do good...
  17. I like the way the field sits up like that, sort of on top looking down....It still is a pretty view.
  18. Oh Lord.....It's a Chevy ..... Other than that , it looks good. Did you make the bed yourself? Look at that land you have. That is heaven to me..
  19. Charger.....Welcome to Hazzardnet. Hope you enjoy yourself around these parts. There are some right friendly people on here. After all Hazzardnet is like family..... Darrell
  20. Alright, I changed the title of this thread to Nascar season 2005....Daytona is over and racin' has started ....Let's keep this thread going for the whole season , if our Mods let us. Maybe our Mods could open up a new section of just racin'? just a thought.. I hope there will be no bashing because of what drivers we like . Some friendly nudging is OK...LOL...NASCAR is a family sport and let's keep it that way around these parts . Darrell
  21. And if the scene gets cut from the film, I just hope it doesn't show up as a deleted scene when the DVD comes out.....
  22. I spit out my coffee reading that....And the worst part is that I actually pictured someone with a big rear end wearing it....... That was too funny..
  23. I guess it might be different if they used the same Batmobile in the movies like the one in the TV show. But the TV show isn't on regular TV anymore and when younger people think of Batman , I would think they come up with Michael Keaton and Tim Burton, not Adam West ... With the Dukes , the General is recognized all over the world and it is the same one that will be used in the movie..... Well enough of my ranting, the General Lee should have been #1 on the list.... Darrell
  24. We should start a thread " 6 degrees of the DOH" .....with all the actors and people that were connected somehow....Just a thought, maybe not a bright one, but one none the less... Later Darrell
