Cajunduke Posted February 25, 2005 Report Share Posted February 25, 2005 Last Sunday as part of the 2nd Annual Mopar & Vette Car CLub Challenge Benefit for Landon Robert at No Problem Raceway in Belle Rose, LA., 15 cars used in the filming of new Dukes of Hazzard movie put on an Exhibition race including the Gen Lee & police car chase... It was all in good fun, but it was a big crowd pleaser... The benefit raised over $7,500 for this lil 4&1/2 year old boy who is fighting cancer...There's lots of pics over at this link....http://www.ccc-la.com/gallery/albums.phpThe race was a five lap race on the 1.8 mile road course. The Gen Lee started from behind being chased by the police car. The police car spun out after one lap. And, on the final lap & last turn the Gen Lee passed a couple of the cars running them off the track as it took the lead for the checkered flag...
