  1. daisyxenos, B.L. and dukefan all got it right. At the beginning of "Days of Shine and Roses" a bunch of Hazzard folks were hanging out at the Boar's Nest watching an old film of Jesse and Boss running from the law. Which person in the crowd was wearing glasses? A) Bo Luke C) Enos D) Cooter
  2. roller coaster (I'm ignoring you Daisy) (Wait a minute, the fact that I said I'm ignoring you, was actually an acknowledment of you. I sure messed that one up)
  3. LOL It's just like the Brad Paisly song "I'm so much cooler online". (I'm going to feel pretty stupid if we find out this kid really does own a General Lee) I hope he'll accept my apology and give me a ride in 3 years.
  4. obnoxious
  5. Aww, I'm so sorry to hear that Daisy. If somebody in the HazzardNet family is hurting, we all our. Our sympathy and prayers are with you. I'm sure Aunt Dixie was a sweet lady. She sure has a sweet name. *HUGS*
  6. Or he's dyslexic and he's 31 (sorry, spelled it wrong I'm sure)
  7. It's hard to say but I think that post was just a hoax. I didn't even understand that comment about the sheriff. Did anybody else? Remember, it's the internet. Even though most HazzardNet folks are honest, there's still bound to be a prankster or too passing through Hazzard County pretending to be someone they're not. Well, I have to go now, Mondays are the nights I usually spend polishing my Mr. Olympia trophy. Now, where'd I leave it? Oh yea, it's in the front seat of my Lamborguini. I bet I'm the only one on the HazzardNet that has a Lamborguini painted like the General Lee.
  8. LOL I know what you mean daisyXenos... Not as creepy as seeing Willie Nelson smoking pot trying to pretend he's Uncle Jesse
  9. expensive
  10. I know what you mean dukefan. I put off going to see it on the big screen but gave in after a few weeks before they pulled it out of the theaters. I'm not sure why I went. I knew I wouldn't like it but curiousity got the best of me. I guess you can compare it to driving up to the scene of a bad car accident while they're putting the victims into the ambulance. You don't want to look because you know it's a horrible ugly tragedy but you just can't help peeking.
  11. Something just dawned on me as I read those last two posts. When they were putting the show together I wonder if the creators ever considered having Jesse be married. I wonder why they decided not to. Well, maybe it was just the way of thinking of that era. Even when Smurfs came out a few years later (don't chuckle, I'm being serious here) they only had one girl out of 99 in the village. I bet they got complaints because they added two girl Smurfs later (Sassette and Grannie Smurf). Am I getting off the subject or what?...LOL..... Of course Papa Smurf is my favorite because he looks and acts the most like Uncle Jesse!!
  12. Woops, Bo wasn't in Soggy Marsh. That was season 5.
  13. The Treasure of Soggy Marsh. I don't know if there's a right or wrong answer as far as it being too hard or not. Making it too easy would be bad also. If nobody gets it, putting up a picture that makes it easier to get is a great idea. Eventually someone will get it. I love this thread. I wish my antiques computer would get the pictures up quicker. Oh well, it's worth the wait.
  14. You're right B.L. It's Cousin Alice. What country singer sang "Ya'll Come" at the end of an episode?
  15. teeth
  16. You both have been such a great addition to this website. I know what you mean about the show's influence. Not counting faith and family, the Dukes of Hazzard has been the single most influential thing in my life. I know that's a pretty strong statement, but it's true. Not very many people can understand that but everybody here can. That's why I love the HazzardNet so much.
  17. How about a little trivia not related to our favorite show? You can post as many questions as you want. I'd suggest not overwhelming people with too many at one time. I'll start with these three. 1) What is Linus and Lucy's last name on Charlie Brown? (aka Peanuts) 2) What's longer, a meter or a yard? 3) What sport is Patrick Ewing famous for?
  18. Thanks for another successful night Min. I suppose we should thank Meadowmuffin for not showing up and dominating the competition. DaisyMaeDuke took her place in that spot. Congratulations Daisy!!
  19. face
  20. Hey Meadowmuffin, I don't think folks are going to enjoy it "as much", I think they'll enjoy it MORE. (I just wish I could get this one...blue Nova...Hmmmm)
  21. This thread makes me smile. It's been less than 2 years since I've learned to use a computer and all I ever use it for is the HazzardNet (because nothing else is really important) Anyway, I really struggled in the chat rooms at first because I was so computer illiterate. I know everybody got a chuckle about how lost I got in some of those conversations. That bring's me to my addition to this list. RLA=Roger's lost again
  22. Very nice dukefan. You show know your Dukes. I'm impressed. You are definitely a great addition to the HazzardNet.
  23. China
  24. You're both right. Daisy has 247 in a row correct (and 305 out of 306) Which of these were on the show? J.D.Hogg Wrecking Company or Hogg Recycling Inc. Sheriff Warren Moon or Boss A.C. Tate Jr. (episode names) Burning Bridges or Money to Burn
  25. This thread is to compile a list of real things that the actors used and put on the show and made them into Hazzard County things. 1)For example, in his book "Redneck Boy in the Promised Land" Ben Jones mentioned (page 33 and 65) that him and his Uncle worked for a mechanic named Stump Rountree when he was a young man living in Virginia. Stump Rountree was an unseen character that was mentioned on the episode "The Canterbury Crock" 2) Hard Labor Creek (page 154 of the same book) was mentioned in "Dukescam Scam" 3) Rosey Walker (page 232) is from "Enos and Daisy's Wedding" 4) Peach Tree Road (page 177) is from "Heiress Daisy Duke" 5) Jim Bronke was an attorney whose named appeared numerous times on the sign in front of the courthouse. It first appeared on "The Big Heist". In reality, Mr. Bronke was a friend of someone who worked on the show (a stage manager I think) 6) Enos's Uncle Odie (unseen on the show but mentioned by Enos on "Enos in Trouble") was really Sonny Shroyer's way of mentioning his real-life father, Odie Shroyer Can anybody else think of any more? I bet there's a lot.
