  1. Hi Lounge Lizard. Welcome to Hazzard County. If you love the Dukes of Hazzard, you'll love it here. We hope you enjoy this website and stay a long time. Do you have a favorite character or episode?
  2. Sometimes if I feel like I need to improve my life I'll make a one month resolution. For example, I made a one month resolution (on May 1) to watch less politics on TV and more Dukes. I kept it and it started a trend that I've stuck with pretty well this summer. Politics make me mad so I can only watch so much of it but for some reason I like to watch it anyways. Dukes on the other hand have nothing but positive effects on me. LOL
  3. You got it right Bo. From "Dukes in Danger" what's the fastest Bo and Luke ever changed a tire? A) 5 seconds 53 seconds C) 1:53 D) 2:53
  4. Sunday Morning Coming Down (Johnny Cash) (written by Kris Kristoffreson) (Kiss An Angel Good Morning is such a great song!!!)
  5. garbage
  6. Sometimes a New Year's Resolution can be pretty intimidating so it's best if poeple make a New Month Resolution. If you can keep a good habit going for 30 days, there's a good chance you can keep it going longer than that. September will be here before you know it. Make a more reasonable goal by making a commitment to yourself for a month Garrett. Of course, folks here like you just the way you are and don't think you need to improve anything!!
  7. *concern grows deeper* Do you think the three of us should sit down and talk this thing out?
  8. *Jesse was surprised but his wrinkled face didn't show it* Why do you think this is any different than any other time?
  9. Here's a couple clues on that last one. It was from season 5. Somebody got an award at the end of the episode, delivered by Miz Tisdale just seconds after she popped a wheelie on her motorcycle. Of course, she had to ask for ID before she could give the award.
  10. This Land is Your Land
  11. China
  12. Clark Kent
  13. *looks at his nephew while tilting his head. Luke recognized that head tilt. It always meant that Jesse wanted more information but wasn't going to ask*
  14. Smallville
  15. I do like some of the newer singers that have country sounding voices. Kenny Chesney is the first one to come to mind. Jason Aldeen too. I don't like them enough to buy a CD or anything but they definitely sound country. I love southern voices like Charlie Daniels and Loretta Lynn. Of course Charlie's been know to rock things up a little but that okay because he's southern, plays a fiddle and I love his political views. He's a true patriot and a living legend. I sure wish Rosco would have caught him and his band in his celebrity speed trap. Charlie Daniels for President!!!!!! (unless he's running against Uncle Jesse)
  16. Hopefully when you're as old as me (49) you'll be a little more open minded than I am and like the old stuff and new stuff. Of course by then, the music you're listening to now will be the "old stuff." Country used to be called "Country and Western" but is now just called country. In the future it might be called "Country and Pop" since it's evolving into that. I can't blame people for liking it because it is good but it's just not for me. Half of the videos on CMT should be on MTV instead. I guess I haven't adjusted with the times. Since I'm happy this way, I don't plan on trying to adjust. And I'm not trying to change anybody elses opinion about modern country music...I'm just expressing my opinion. Hope I didn't make anybody mad.
  17. Welcome to Hazzard County BoDukeLuvr. Don't stay under that rock too long because we'd sure like to hear from you more often. You sound like our kind of folk. Hope to hear from you again soon. By the way, James Best is an active participant here on the HazzardNet although it's been a little while since we've heard from him. I hope you checked out his thread and seen some of the things he has personally posted.
  18. You got me on that one. They were in a two man glider but I can't remember the episode. I'm pretty sure it is late in the series. I'm into season 5 right now so I bet I'll bump into it eventually if nobody else knows the answer. They were both using motorized hand gliders on "Daisy's Shotgun Wedding" but I'm sure you're thinking of the one with the big two man glider that was wind powered. I do remember Bo saying that.
  19. You got it right Daisy. Miz Tisdale has been secretly watching Rosco, Enos and Cletus.
  20. Roll on Mississippi (Alabama)
  21. maximum
  22. *in a firm yet loving voice* Now Luke I can tell there's more botherin' you than them varmints.
  23. *continues snoring* (Hey this might turn into an RP) LOL
  24. Old country is the only stuff I listen to. On occasion a new song comes out that I like but rarely. Boondocks is probably the last new song that I really liked. I suppose I should get with modern times and start embracing this new stuff but I just can't tell most of it from pop or soft rock (or whatever it's called). I can't wait until a classic country radio station comes to my area someday. If that ever happens, I'll rip the knob off and never listen to anything else. Hopefully it will be called WHOGG and have a DJ named Elton Loggins and play a lot of Waylon Jennings and the Dukes Family Singers.
  25. daisyxenos, B.L., Bo and Daisy all got it right. I thought maybe someone would forget about the egg and only answer "milk". Who did the actor John Wheeler play? A) Hughie Hogg Dewey Hogg C) Big Ed Little D) Mr Rhuebottom
