Welcome to Hazzard County Dana! I know what you mean about being confused about the name. I was 19 when it came out and when I heard the name I thought it was about street gangs in some big city! Everybody was raving about the show so I watched one ep and have been hooked ever since.

bummer....Radio Shack is going out of business. I never really noticed the brand on the show but I do know that Radio Shack was the most popular CB at the time.

fish (Hazzard has the only car wash in the world where you can get your car cleaned and have a fresh (very fresh) fish sandwich (without the bread) at the same time. I hear Gollum gets his car washed there. (little Lord of the Rings joke)

And I should mention CMT was running a Dukes marathon during the Super Bowl so folks could see the originals.

My wife wants to go to Florida someday. We live in northern Pennsylvania so you know where we'll be spending the night. It won't be anytime soon though. I don't like to travel but visiting the original Hazzard county sure gives me some incentive.

I feel bad for Meadowmufn. That was a really tough way to lose. Oh well, at least they won last year. Daisy Duke got a mention in the Super Bowl though. At halftime Katey Perry sang her song that mentions "Daisy Dukes".
