This thread is an amazing piece of work. I had no idea that Rosco's house and Grannie Annie's house were the same building. I never would have noticed that. I never watched the Walton's since we only got one channel back then. In fact I had to go to my grandparents every Friday to watch the Dukes. They only lived a quarter mile away but had a really good antenna.
I don't really like air conditioning and have never had it. I work outside and this long string of 90 degree days doesn't bother me but it's tougher for the guys who have AC because their bodies aren't climatized to the heat. Don't get me wrong I can see why people like it but for people who work outside it's a luxury that your body pays for.
Thanks for the update Garrett. I still like your updates even though I'm disappointed to hear you're not a big wig in NASCAR's corporate headquarters. With your knowledge I though for sure you were up there. Hoss, do you think $152 is enough money to sponser a car?
No Garrett, that Roger Clemens game was when he was pitching for Toronto and they were playing the Angels. (I was going to tell you that the Blue Jays and Pirates are in different leagues and don't play each other but I forgot about intraleague games) By the way, I picked up Carlos Marmol in the other fantasy league that I'm in....not ours.
Hoss and BL got all three right. Which of these were on the show? Melvin Jacobs Jr. OR Jeb McCobb Boot Hill Cemetary OR Pine Ridge Grave Yard Eagle Pass OR Wild Turkey Valley
I believe the road is Chestnut Trail. In addition to checking "Money To Burn" from season 1 check out "Double Dukes" from season 4 and "Dead and Alive" from season 6. In "Dead and Alive" the cemetary has a different name. It's called Hogg's Heavenly Haven Cemetary. I don't think the coffin works is in that episode but it should be in "Double Dukes" in addition to "Money To Burn". Let us know what you find out.
JPB, I too am sorry to hear about your husband. That must be prettty rough on you. We're heading for more heat here up by Lake Erie. It's supposed to be in the 90s in a couple days. We sure need rain. It's forecast tomorrow but I don't know if it's going to be enough to fill the wells. I doubt it.
20 strike outs! Was that an extra inning game? I doubt that's happened too often....nice birthday present. I saw Roger Clemens strike out 16 in Toronto. It's the only major league game I've ever been to that wasn't in Pittsburgh.
Hmmm, sounds interesting. Maybe we should have an election to see who everybody's favorite character is. Well, since it would be a two man race how 'bout this....one contest to vote for Bo vs Luke and another one to vote for the other characters.
I'm kinda depressed about David Ragen not being up there anymore. I understand it's because he switched teams and all but still it's getting me down and not making the season as interesting as it was last year. Hey Garrett, you're pretty well connected in the world of NASCAR. Next time you're in one of the meetings at NASCAR corporate headquarters could you tell them my story and maybe use your influence to get Ragen up there in the top 10? They don't take bribes do they?.....'cause I have $152 in my savings if that will help.
I sure hope they don't start random drug testing for members of the HazzardNet. I'm not sure what Brian spiked the egg nog with at our last Christmas party but I think it's still in my system.
