  1. I'm an hour ahead of you Garrett? You'd better get used to that because when fantasy NASCAR starts my drivers are going to be an hour ahead of yours.
  2. Thanks Hoss. My wife's cousin Dan was born on Rick's third birthday.
  3. In the third season Jesse said his wife was Martha. His wife named Lavinia is mentioned in the 5th, 6th and 7th seasons. In the second season (Return of the Ridge Raiders) Jesse mentioned Aunt Lavinia but that's a different person. In "Treasure of Hazzard" (second season) Martha Duke is mentioned also but it's a different Martha since it was 1762. I like to think that Jesse's wife was named Martha Lavinia Duke and sometimes Jesse called her by her middle name.
  4. Good question. My wife's cousin has a birthday today too and he's around Cletus's age. Now I wonder if they were born the same year as well. Thanks for sharing these pictures Sissy!
  5. See, this is why the social event of the year here on the HazzardNet is our Christmas party. We can't have a New Year's party around here because it just causes too many fights since I'm the only one here who knows how to tell time.
  6. So far the Super Bowl predictions are: Garrett with the Packers beating the Texans. Me with the Falcons beating the Texans. Meadowmufn with Falcons vs Broncos but undecided on the winner. We'll accept guesses until kick off of the first playoff game on Saturday Jan 5th. Come on K-Duke give us your best guess.
  7. Happy New Year!

  8. Happy New Year!

  9. Hey, it's been 2013 here for 3 minutes so Happy New Year's!

  11. Hey, I'm going to press the "Submit Reply" button at exactly midnight (EST)
  12. Oh no, if I'm the only one who enters the contest I'll come in first and last place. That will be weird. I have three. 1) Personal financial goals. I always keep these so I should have no problem again. 2) Spend more time on my book. I've made a bit of a schedule so I hope that if I structure my time better I'll be fine with keeping this one. I'm also going to keep track of the time I put into it so that'll give me more incentive. 3) This one sounds easy but it'll be the toughest. Simplify my life. I'm NOT going to give a complicated explanation because that wouldn't be simple. LOL I just have to stop trying to do so much. Happy New Year everybody!
  13. Hey, the ball's getting ready to drop here in about a half hour. I hope Cletus isn't the one letting it go or it will probably break. He has a bit of a clumsy streak.
  14. Wow, that's a tough one. A pagoda rang a bell before I even saw BL's answer so that gives me two reasons to pick it.
  15. Here are the NFL playoff teams. Pick who you think will win the Super Bowl and who you think they'll beat. Pick one team from each of the two conferences. You're picking who you THINK will win, not necessarily who you WANT to win. If you'd like, put a little side note in there with who you WANT to win. National Football Conference Packers 49ers Vikings Falcons Seahawks Redskins American Football Conference Colts Patriots Texans Ravens Broncos Bengals ROGER DUKE PICKS THE FALCONS TO BEAT THE TEXANS IN THE SUPER BOWL GO ATLANTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Boss sat in the sheriff's car puffing his cigar. Both windows were open and Jeff Gordon sat in the back seat giving Boss the silent treatment...at least for the moment. Rosco was outside talking to Hughie, too far away from Boss to hear what they were saying. Boss's mind was going a mile a minute as he silently argued with himself in his head. Had he thought of everything? What could go wrong? What will go right? Will he end up with a huge payday or a huge headache? Did he make the best choices in deciding who to call last night to help? Could Hughie be trusted? Will Rosco mess up as usual? How should he divide the money if the day ends well? Will the national media get involved? Is he over his head with this scheme? Did he bite off more than he could chew? So many questions.....no answers. Boss craved answers. He wanted so bad to have confidence that everything will go perfect. Outwardly he oozed confidence. Inwardly he worried that this could be the last scam he ever tries to pull. So much could go wrong. He pulled himself together, reached for the CB, pressed the microphone and blurted. "This is Police Commissioner JD Hogg calling Mr. Aussler. Do you copy?" When there was no response he noticed the power was off and the key wasn't in the ignition.....and without it turned into the first position the CB wouldn't work. "ROSCO! Git over here this instant you idiot!!!"
  17. I feel your pain. As I type this the Redskins are playing the Cowboys to determine the last playoff spot. The winner of this game will travel to Seattle to play Meadowmufn's Seahawks.
  18. Another New Year's Day....another Cletus Birthday! Happy birthday Tuesday Rick!
  19. And his birthday is on New Year's Day!

  21. Congratulations Sissy. I smiled when I read your post because I'm so happy for you. I have a newer Buck 446 which is about the same size. I also have the 120 which is also called The General. Even though it wasn't named after our favorite car I like to think it was anyways. I've owned it for 30 years and it has been through many adventures in the northern Pennsylvania woods. It used to be the biggest knife Buck made but I'm not sure if that's still the case. (no pun intended since Case is such a big knife company as well)
  22. Will all of our personal profiles, post numbers, signatures and avatars be the same?
  23. Luckily for Steelers fans we ended up with a victory against the Browns to end our season. A loss would have added insult to injury to one of the most dismal seasons we've had in awhile. After the playoff seedings are in place we'll do predictions on who's going to win the big show in February. Congrats on that Bears win Garrett and Jamie.
