  1. McDonald's has a new commercial out saying "I used to be like that". It pokes fun at the folks addicted to their devices....so addicted in fact that they can't enjoy their meal. Of course McDonald's also provides WiFi.
  2. Shucks, it's still telling me that the password is incorrect despite trying nascar24. I know I'm computer illiterate but I've been playing yahoo fantasy sports for 4 years and I know I'm trying the correct way to sign up so I'm suspecting there's still some other problem. I even tried to put a space between nascar (small letters) and 24. Could there be a chance you're giving me the wrong password intentionally because you know I'll win if I sign up? LOL
  3. Hey Garrett, I tried signing up using 947 and NASCAR24 but it said the password was wrong. I tried variations of the password (without caps, etc) and it still didn't work. Is anybody else having problems?

  5. For those of you who have never played fantasy NASCAR before it's really easy. Other sports require a lot of time to be competitive but you can win a NASCAR league by only putting five minutes a week into it. The trick is to picking the right drivers. Since I didn't do too well last season I think I'm going to get help this year by asking advice from a friend of mine who knows which drivers do well on which tracks. I like to think that's not really cheating since the yahoo fantasy NASCAR website also provides tips, as it does with all fantasy sports. Plus you can buy magazines that assist you with advice. At least I know you can with the other fantasy sports. So much of fantasy NASCAR is luck since drivers, more often than not, don't finish where they're expected to. But even though a unknowledgable player can be lucky a week or two, the people who do the best in the long run are usually folks like Garrett who know NASCAR better.

  7. I'm going for the Seahawks. They've never won it and besides, Meadowmufn's awesome! I'll be thinking about you during the game MM
  8. That's funny Hoss. I suppose the picture was taken with a cell phone.

  11. helicopter (hey, there's more than one definition of chopper)
  12. Go Seahawks! (Since I'm a Steelers fan I don't want to see any other team get 6 Super Bowl rings) I'm happy for you Meadowmufn!
  13. Since my wife has a smart phone we've decided to not replace the computer at home since our luck with them is pretty bad. This means that I won't be logging in as much as I have in the past. I actually like not having a computer at home because I get so many other things accomplished that I care about when it's not around to distract me. In fact, the only thing I miss about it is the HazzardNet. I'm like Phil Robertson on Duck Dynasty, I've never even owned a cell phone and have no intention to ever have one. I seem to be walking backwards when it comes to this technological revolution that's unfolding. You might even say that I'm revolting against the revolution. I just feel more free when I'm not connected. It's sad to see today's young people becoming willing slaves to the latest shiny technological marvel. They seem to hold them in higher regards than their human friends.
  14. I just sat down in the waiting room of the doctor's office this morning when I heard a YEEHAWW coming from the TV screen. I looked up and saw a picture of Bo, Luke and Daisy on the screen. To my surprise it was CBS and not TNT. John Schneider was just being introduced by Rachael Ray on her show. Great timing I thought..... but I bet this will be one of those doctor's visits where you get called in right away. Luckily I was wrong and got called in right after the interview was over. Great timing twice! John looks great. He talked about his new series, The Haves and Haves Not. He also talked about various other subjects as well, like his love of horror movies. Of course the thing that excited me the most was the times that Dukes were mentioned briefly. Thankfully Rachael mentioned that they are still on the air!
  15. Welcome to Hazzard County Russell. I'll never own a real General Lee but I can always dream! We look forward to hearing more from you.

  17. This is great! Thanks so much for posting this Jason. It makes me want to grab my tools and lend a hand. (which I'd do if I wasn't 1,000 miles away) LOL
  18. Welcome to Hazzard County Jason. Awesome pictures of the cars! But, more important than that, it's nice to see you're raising those kids right by watching the Dukes with 'em!
  19. walking (I love that old song "Walking the floor over you")
  20. I understand the complaints and I agree but I'm just so happy it's back on the air I'm not focusing on it. I'm just SOOOOO excited about this. I know where I'll be every night at 8 (EST). I only watched two of the episodes during the marathon but 8:00 weeknights is a great time for me. Knowing there's millions of Dukes fans watching it at the same time I am really puts a big smile on this old redneck's face!
  21. I love watching the show knowing other fans are watching it at the same time so this is exciting. Thanks for the updates.
  22. Happy Birthday JD! (Jan 4)

  24. What an amazing thread. It's truly the crown jewel of the HazzardNet!
  25. Happy birthday (Jan 1) to Hazzard County's second favorite deputy
